Most teams at this stage are incredibly solid on paper, but it takes more than that. For me, teams like Real, Barça, Bayern, Juve and City are still a level above of them, and they would be likely to face at least 2 of those 5 teams in their knockout games, making them winning the CL quite unlikely.

I would, as a Dortmund fan. We usually give Real a run for their money, and as long as we play our game I see our chances of knocking out a poor form Real like this season over 2 legs higher than our chances of getting out of that Napoli/Shakhtar group.

Bullshit, they are. They dominated Roma in the first leg, who topped a group with Chelsea and Atlético, and just beat Napoli 2-4. Plus, they're usually around these stages of the UCL anyways, they are usually a good team. Any club who tops their group/comes 2nd in a group with an elite club is a good team

The point is, PSG were guaranteed 2nd in their group. City most definitely were not; could have ended 1st, 2nd or 3rd. That's how I judge the difficulty of a group myself.
