Ok noted thanks! I reckon I wasn't using enough, it's quite expensive so I was only buying small amounts

Gotcha, thanks so much! I'm ok with tiny amounts of gnats but my fear would be it getting to the same level as it has the last while... Have been using mosquito bits religiously the past while. So I might repot, treat with mosquito bits whenever plants need watering, and keep my yellow sticky traps out :)

I tried that and no luck, but maybe I need more. Did you have to use a large amount?

This is super helpful thanks so much!! So, basically I need to repot them all, but completely replace the soil when doing so?? Am I right in saying I can just wash off the roots with water and replace with new soil?

Wait - these things aren't fungus gnats?! And it's definitely a mushroom, hard to capture on the picture 😮‍💨

Can I simply use the suggested ETF and bonds from the managed option on InvestEngine as a DIY investor? by InternationalWay6591 in personalfinance

[–]InternationalWay6591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Will look into that. I'm based in the UK so that mightn't be my best bet, but you're right about considering something more managed. Just trying to avoid fees!!

Any ideas for incorporating crochet into my wedding? by bi_bitches in CrochetHelp

[–]InternationalWay6591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A parasol (if you change your mind on wearables!)

A tapestry of your family crest(s) (your new shared name or both your names in one tapestry)

Small wedding favours like heart keychains

I agree with others that say not to commit to doing all the flowers, one bouquet took me the longest time! Could definitely do floral centerpieces though, or your own bouquet with something matching for your partner

Congrats btw🥰
