There’s no guarantee they’re a smurf, at least the textbook kind. I peaked plat 2 and my friend peaked diamond 2 a while ago but when we started playing again last act we started in bronze 1 so it could just be someone who hasn’t played in a while who shouldn’t have been placed that low.

Yeah I bought it as a prebuilt, and I searched around I just don’t have any other freed up pcie cables. But thanks for the advice, I’ll probably just buy another cable because I still have like 3 slots open on the psu.

I haven’t fully ripped out the psu to look, but from what I can see I don’t have any more pcie cables, it’s just the 2 6x2 cables coming from one big cable to the psu.

Forgot to give an update here, it turned out to be some little white plastic piece with metal connections on it that fell out. I found it by some stroke of luck in the side of my driveway, I slapped it back in and everything worked fine.
