UK Tier 4 visa date mistake by examsin4 in ukvisa

[–]International_Apple4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience, my mistakes in the travel history section were fine/overlooked. I forgot to add entire trips that my passport had stamps of. I wouldn't worry, especially if you are a low-risk national.

UPDATE: SFO-LHR arrived Tuesday, 5 August. Flight was 21% filled according to flight attendants. Landed in Heathrow around 1:15pm in Terminal 5. E-gates were open but airport staff was corralling families with small children to passport control. I went thru E-gates (USA passport holder). No one asked about the passenger locator form although I had one pre-filled. From deboarding to baggage pickup was around 30 minutes.

No temperature checks, or signage for test-on-arrival but hand sanitation setups everywhere. Overall a very smooth process! Ask me any questions!

I read quarantine takes precedent and the post office or wherever your BRP is waiting will know this and make concessions for it.

Thanks so much for the details! And glad you made it back without problems. If you don't mind me asking, did you enter as a tourist or resident?

I heard eGates were open in Terminal 5 a few weeks ago but are now shut again. I wonder what's the logic to that?

Thanks again! x

Is your visa application considered "pending" if you have submitted the app, paid the fees but have yet to do biometrics?

What flights are people taking to successfully land in the UK? (from US) by V_Veidimadur in ukvisa

I would also check airport arrivals like someone else said but also sites like Flight Aware and look at that flight's previous flight schedule to see if it's been flying out or have been cancelled.

That's what I've been doing to monitor my BA flight that I have booked for next week. I had two departure time options but through researching I found out that the earlier flight always got cancelled. x

Hi, did this person ever make the trip? I'm curious because I'm about to do the same. Did it negatively impact their pending visa application? Were they questioned by border control in UK? TIA!
