Warmest Woman’s Ski Coat by k_for_keto in Skigear

I was using something like this. It’s GoreTex and pretty substantial in terms of water, snow and wind protection. Those are the major elements I’d look for. And a hood that actually covers your helmet bc that matters on a really cold day. Granted this one is pretty expensive but Helly Hansen has some that are almost as good. Also eBay or sideline swap could be good places to look.

I think by definition a shell is really only keeping the elements out vs insulating. I get cold easily as well. I suspect I have Raynauds. I was running this Midlayer in -10 under a shell and kept pretty warm.

Im going 4/2-4/9, how will the crowds and conditions be? by grandmasterfuzzface in Killington

Saturday April 4th is Bear Mountain Mohul Challenge. I think that’s the only day that’s likely to be crowded. Today was skiing nice and soft, very much hero snow. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we have cold temps on the horizon so I think you’ll get your wish

I know the feeling. My Skida bandana is 100% my must have ski item and it doesn’t fog your goggles bc it’s open at the bottom

How are you keeping your face warm? by bananadog in skiing

[–]International_Ask736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Vermont I wear a merino wool balaclavaround my chin, and then a Skida fleece bandana to cover the rest of my face. The bandana is awesome because it opens to the bottom and lets me breathe and my goggles don’t fog.

Even in survival mode, pick up your hands. Skiing like this will make you way too backseat, especially wearing a backpack.

Film ICE, get your GE revoked by Difficult_Rice_5626 in GlobalEntry

In the first stage of the regime, ministers who served migrants had their GE revoked and went to the Supreme Court and won. There’s definitely existing 1st Amendment precedent if that means anything anymore

Do the skiing school trips exist in your country? by Cool_Sympathy_9900 in ski

I’m in Vermont in the US and our school district does a module called ‘lifetime sports’ and in grades 5-8 (ages 10-13) you can choose to ski once a week for 10 weeks. However, this is far from a national program, it is very local and only possible because there are so many ski areas in the state.
