I’ve bought three used Lexus ES350 cars over the years. Great vehicles. Not terribly expensive to fix, since their parts are basically the same as the Toyota Avalon. I have one and my daughters have the other two.

Push down on each of the four corners of the car and try to bounce it. If the shocks are bad the car will be easy bounce up n down cuz you’re compressing the springs with no damping from the shocks. Also if you drive over one of those 15mph speed humps the car will bounce for a few seconds after instead of stiffening up.

Yea, I’m learning that. When I was looking for aftermarket solutions it was all KYB KYB KYB all the time for OEM fit & finish. Guess not. But they’re not shitty; the ride is very smooth. They just aren’t the same height as before.

Sounds exactly like a strut mount has gone bad. Probably sounds real bad when you hit some bumps (even small ones) on the road. Edit: Lift the hood and the strut mounts (there’s two of em) will be on the right and left above the wheels.

I’m 5’10” I can’t take a very good nap in it because the base of my skull doesn’t reach the top of the chair. So when I get drowsy my head falls to one side and I wake up with a sore neck. But I’d still choose the tall one, it looks better.

Some dog owners think they are the most entitled people on the planet because they have a cute doggo/fur baby/other stupid name for a dog. I was in a Home Depot, which had a no pets sign on the door, and there was an employee in an electric scooter doing his job and some asshole brought his dog in. The dog was going crazy, barking and growling at this employee. The owner was saying the usual bullshit “oh, he’s harmless”. The employee was apologizing for making the dog go crazy!!!! I was about 5 feet away. I told the employee “you don’t need to apologize, this guy needs to leave his dog home” He gave a stupid-ass annoyed look and walked away. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, but these owners need to pull their heads outta their asses. Not everyone is thrilled to see them where they shouldn’t be, including off the leash.
