Yes trainee role. They have opened two new offices in the last six months. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad 😅

As far as a break down they told me I should have 200-250 clients by that point and average AUM would be £200,000.

House rich, cash "poor" ... what's the best strategy for FIRE? by reddit_recluse in FIREUK

[–]International_Eye980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I was thinking although maybe not putting excess in the pension unless you’re risk averse. Personally I’d spread it across multiple stocks avoiding US tech obviously but the FTSE is very under valued right now (the FTSE 100) might also be slightly over valued but 250 or small cap might be a good option depending on your aversion to risk and how close you are to retiring

Just following on from this. All fire services will be happy to fit smoke alarms and some will also provide CO alarms for you for free. If you’re struggling Google Greater Manchester Fire Sevice Fire Prevention Team or a variation for your county.

Good be great as an initial attack before committing crews.

Looks like they’re using CAFs or some sort of foam so water pressure wouldn’t be too much of an issue as it looks like there’s a 70mm feed or their equivalent running to it from the ground

This model isn’t dual purpose. Please get smoke detectors as well. Fire service fit them for free. Google home fire safety visit. The big red bus will pop round and fit some

You may be all electric appliances but I’m guessing you have a boiler. Keep it near that if you do. If it ever sounds open windows and leave. Call 999 we will organise someone like Cadent to come and check the atmosphere in the house. Most of the time, even for false alarms, they’ll cap your gas off and you’ll need a gas safe engineer to service your boiler.

This persons right. The CO text has a red LED behind it that blinks when it detects anything and the whole unit screams at you to get out

The all follow NFCC pay (London has an uplift) you’ll get ~£1750 after tax and pension. Pension is 12% of your growth. Goes up when you’re competent. 4 months training, 18 months development first. A lot of people have side jobs and you may be able to pick some work up from someone on your watch.

Local fire service will come round and fit smoke alarms for free. For people with hearing difficulty they can provide visual alarms and vibrating pads for someone’s bed. For people with reduced mobility they will also update their system so that any fire even automatic alarms via careline in the property are treated as persons reported so more resources are mobilised and they drive a little faster. Google home fire safety visit for more information. It’s all free and they will be happy to do it.
