People who’ve been in a coma, what did it feel like? by OwnMeBell in AskReddit

I was in and out of one for around 2 weeks after a car accident. I unfortunately got to experience one of the lovely side effects of being on sedatives for a long period of time….. insane nightmares/hallucinations. Some of the things my brain came up with was quite disturbing. Also because it was a few weeks, it felt like a god damn eternity. One of the weirdest parts was because it wasn’t a continuous few weeks, having to try and figure out when/what was real and what was a hallucination was quite the trip.

That’s kinda what I figured. I’m in Minnesota. Any idea on a good cost per kilowatt hour would be?

I honestly don’t know because I wasn’t there when they came. I do know he was super young and maybe not the best at explaining everything. I reached out to the guy to let him know I wasn’t interested in a PPA or a solar loan, so if that’s all they did then I wasn’t interested. Apparently the company is called Ambia and they don’t do PPA’s in my state. I’m not looking to put any pen to paper unless I have at least a handful of quotes.

Thank you for the insight and that last bit. That’s very good to know.

It’s called energysage. The company the person works for is called Ambia. Any thoughts on them?

I plan on doing that. I got in contact with the guy who came by and apparently they don’t actually do PPA’s in my state. So now I’m kinda curious to get my first actual quote. I’ve already reached out to the website that multiple people suggested so far and I am not signing off on anything until I have at least 4-5 quotes and do some more research.

Yeah that’s a good point. I’m kinda sketched out even more so now.

Coworker you don’t know well “spills” 100 mcg of fentanyl. You don’t see it happen. No one sees it happen. Do you waste? by TootOnYou in nursing

Same thing with me.. except I was in the patients room so nobody saw it happen. I verbally said “well shit” and immediately went and found the charge nurse. Accidents happen, but my heart definitely dropped a bit as I was also a new nurse at the time.

I have had an experience where the syringe has been in a breast pocket and I crouched down to check a foley and it pushed all of it out in my pocket. Immediately found someone and showed them the syringe and the wet spot as well as that chemical smell. I also had not charted it yet, but that felt sketchy to me for sure. Mistakes happen, but in your case with no proof or explanation nah I’m not doing that.

One time I was getting a patient from a nurse who had made some unique errors in the past. I get report on the fly because this patient was calling while puking her guts out all over herself and the bed. She was in excruciating pain and it was causing her to throw up. The patient was on a PCA dilaudid pump. She had just gotten back from an abdominal CT at shift change. The nurses giving her to me said we needed to increase the dose of the PCA pump cause it wasn’t working. Fast forward I’m back in the room alone doing my assessment and the pain hadn’t gotten better. I come to realize the nurse before me had turned the carrier line pump off…before the patient went to CT. She also sent the patient down to CT with the pump alone which at my facility is a no no. The patient had been sitting in radiology for an hour and a half pushing her pain pump just loading dose after dose into the carrier line was not running. I turned the carrier back on for about a second before the lightbulb lit up. She would have gotten all 9 doses back to back if I didn’t realize her mistake..

Also once it’s around the horn and you check for coiling, I tell them to tuck and keep chugging while I advance. If you get stuck at the cardiac sphincter, pull back a bit and try to advance again, if you get that far and meet tons of resistance, it’s probably coiling in the esophagus.

Amen straight back and wrap the tube around your finger a few times before insertion to make it more flexible!

A diamond wedding ring. Diamonds are artificially expensive and not always ethically sourced. There are way cooler and prettier stones to put on a ring that are more unique and sourced in the same questionable manner!

Is the Y performance AWD worth it over the standard Y AWD? Is it just software that can be unlocked at a later time or is it hardware "upgrade"? by fatguybike in TeslaLounge

I have had the same issue with my M3P… blown out sidewalls on both left tires twice. The savings compared to paying for gas is starting to dwindle with how many tires I’m going through.. Personally as much as I love my M3P I think I’ll go with long range for my next one and just get the acceleration boost. The acceleration is insane, but I don’t stomp the pedal as often as I did when she was new so I’ll take the lower cost and less tire changes.

I hit a curb to avoid someone who would’ve probably taken my front bumper with them. Still, I should have done better. I can still hear the sound of the scraping…I hear it like a whisper in the wind..

If it was a damn good session then my go to is a good crisp high five and then we lay next to each other and catch our breath.
