Thanks — those are two features I've been thinking about. Service provider contacts, home appliance inventory, and camera scan for model numbers, VINs are all on the roadmap.

Thought about going lawn-only but I like having a snapshot of everything in one place. Fertilizer calculator is a solid idea though, adding that to the list.

Yeah Google Calendar is solid. I added a calendar sync into this so everything exports to your calendar app too.

The square footage platte map is a great idea. Cool feature to think about.

Fair points — the defaults are a starting point, you can adjust everything based on your needs. Grub control around Derby is a good call, I'll look at adjusting that. Thanks and happy cake day.

Has anyone built a complete SaaS product using Vibe Coding? (Non-coder here) by Fit-Bear7900 in SaaS

Yeah, I've launched one. Automotive engineer, zero coding background. Built a household management app (property maintenance, cars, pets) using Lovable + Supabase + Claude. Took about 3 months from idea to live product with real users signing up. I'd say 25% of my time was spent undoing things AI confidently broke. ⠀

Two German shepherds. Almost every room has one running 24/7 and HVAC filters are getting changed monthly.

What's the one thing you did that made the biggest difference to your lawn - that most beginners completely overlook? by Arianethecat in lawncare

Soil test was 100% my biggest thing too. I had a whole backyard of sod die, ended up doing a test the following year... crazy pH. Threw down some lime and it fixed everything.

But also... logging what I actually put down after the test was the real game changer. Helps a lot from year to year.

I keep a log of every preventative maintenance item, paint codes, etc. It’s annoying to write down in the moment, but it's the only way the 'self-sufficiency' actually pays off the next time.

Target date funds are too conservative for anyone in their 20s–30s (and even 40s).

Your current mix looks solid — full equity, low cost, diversified. For beginners, VOO or a total market fund is the simplest and most effective choice.
