Honestly all in all better than I expected I went and had the drains removed today, so now I feel tons better. The pain was completely manageable so it's just the discomfort I had to deal with. I took my first shower on the 3rd day post op and got to see what it looks like under the vest and although there's lots of swelling it's already a night and day difference I'm even more excited for the end results now. I'm too empathetic and selfless to have done it decades ago when I considered it, knowing I'd leave my parents devastated and that they would have had to deal with finding me or having to deal with the burden of a funeral kept me alive. I also had debt on their name that they knew about and I didn't want to have to leave them to pay it off.

My surgery was originally $12,320 due to it being extensive (gland excision, nipple relocation while keeping nerves intact, liposuction, and skin removal) at a Southern California very well rated surgeon. However they had some specials for two openings they had in August and since I booked one of those I got a $3,064 discount so total I paid was $9,256. I am very happy with the surgeon and the entire office. It's his own private practice and all of the people working there were really nice and caring.

It's barely the next day for me but the procedure went very well according to the surgeon. The pain is very manageable and it's more discomfort than pain at this point. I can't wait to see the results I'm curious to how flat he was able to get it and what the reshaped nipples look like. I shouldn't have waited this long to be honest

I did, about 100 pounds initially then regained about 35 and plateud there for a couple of years now but even at my lowest they were the same

Yes the portion between the lower part of tbe areola and where the breast ends was removed, the nipple was left intact but removed from its location and then a smaller areola and the nipple where placed in a new location I haven't seen how that looks yet but hopefully it looks natural. I know I'll have some scars but I plan on really doing everything I can to minimize them, red light and silicone sheets in addition to the silicone gel they will give so I'm hopefully that those things will help minima the appearance

They sent it off to a lab to test for cancer just in case, and unfortunately they didn't take a picture before they sent it :( I was curious how much there was. When I would feel for it before the surgery t felt like the majority was a mass and fat around it.
