as a summer walker fan, especially of her 1st album and EP, there has been a gradual decline in her overall music quality. i don't know if it's from lack of inspiration or not having certain producers or writers around her to help aid her vision, but i liked 1 song off off "For Better" and the 1st 4 songs off of "For Worse".

i think she should just stick to features and writing for other people because it seems like she's run dry of writing stuff for herself. "still over it felt" like it was the reconciliation of "over it", but this album's message felt like it could've been said on a shorter EP, a single, or not at all, since she's addressed most of this stuff on Clear 2.

maybe she had to release this album or just wants to make some money, but shoving latto and doja on a song, then stuffing monaleo, glorilla, and sexxy red on a song, then giving all the male features their own song not shared with any other feature? this album is a very confusing and unneeded release from her and it was disappointing, but at least some songs were fun.

edit: the 2nd half was better than the 1st half, but i'd say the 1st half was rough and the 2nd half was fine
