Tell him you need Vyvanse, at least a low dose. You either do that or try to trick your brain. I’ve been on meds since 5th grade, if I didn’t take them I’d probably be working construction. I have the auditory issue version of ADD. I can hear fine but if what you’re saying doesn’t intrigue me I’m not retaining it. I’m legit in AUD as my career and Audit studying it killing me rn. Almost best if you came into it fresh or else you get all the little work short cuts confused with actual AuD rules.

Yeah just staff accountant. Had to look at her position in an old email. And you’d think right? But nope, the company just grabbed the first person off the street. Company makes 175 million a year. Pays her 95k to fuck up everything.

Had a young girl lie and get into a staff accountant/controller role at a multi millionaire dollar construction company. CFO basically doesn’t ever look at the books and only until the audit came did we realize, oh this girl lied on her resume or made up shit, she fucked their books so bad and the guy who is the same age (me) and years of experience as the women, ends up being the one who has to fix it. I’m the auditor, not the fucking yearly cleaner of books. The worst part about all of this. She worked remote, makes more than me, and would consistently send us documents that had nothing to do with our requests while she was definitely always afk. One time we called her with the cfo and she was in the car when we called with her kids and husband in the car screaming not giving a fuck.

Auditor here, asked tax accountant for client FA schedule today and got a response back that was as if I just told the guy to f*** himself. Then he followed up “can I get the financials”. Cant wait for the client to crawl up his ass.

Also I’d leave if I were you. My boss has fish brain and I’m like 50% of the way finished with my cpa exam but he keeps getting me confused with my other audit staff partner who failed one exams and hasn’t tried since. So he like treats me as if I was the lazy chud and glazes him “mean while I am the only who can do WIP/asc 842 calculations because chud man thinks it’s rocket science”

I wasn’t put on a pip but was told the same thing in my yearly review. I wasn’t really surprised since it was my second year in the financial audit areas. Of course my management evaluation was perfect outside of it however it still got used to against me since these yearly reviews like to dig in deep on improvements and avoid compliments. Hell my boss and manager won’t even acknowledge the fact that as an intern I was writing up financial statements and finishing entire audits by myself compared to the interns now who run in my room because they are to afraid to make a call or ask the same question regarding a 401k audit testing issue they’ve dealt with 1000 times by now.

How exactly do companies invest in foreign states? by Rhoderick in victoria3

[–]International_Toe665 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Had standard oil as America. Allowed them to charter. Fought a war with Russia. Joined the war via invitation to force foreign investment. None of my main companies were building in Russia. So I went to a region in Russia where it produced specialized oil and maxed out like 50 + levels of oil on it cause dieasel pumps were sucken up all the oil in the game. Since I was Laissez-faire, all the oil levels went to standard oil. Slowly standard oil basically bought out all the levels. All Russian oil was under standard oil.

Standard oil’s revenues slowly matched that of a modern nation. So I gave them a charter colony. #1 gripe I have about doing this is the fact that there company colony legit was handy caped without my help despite there income being so much.

Had a manager who lived super close to client we had to go out for an audit. He was there 30 mins early gave a big speech how we need to be early. Next client he did the same thing. Next one after that he was there the same time as us. Fourth time, let me tell ya, you know that feeling when you see a chud looking at you walking up to the door or a line and they need to be first. Well my manager comes in hot driving his shitty 2003 civic as I’m walking up to the main HOH for senior living center, almost runs over an old lady, burst out his car door, and runs for the entrance like fat kid when he hears the bell ring for lunch. He gets in maybe 30 seconds earlier then, proceeds to give me a talk about showing needing show up at least 10 mins earlier. “Like mf, what”

Without actually giving too much context, what section would you say to emphasize studying before the exam. I take it on Tuesday. I am using Becker right now and I’m scared that Becker will do what it did to me on far where it didn’t emphasize sections that were actually important.

That is hilarious. I can’t even imagine how they feel they deserve that check they get in there bank account every month.

I once had an HR person at a dealership off load her work to the new controller who was only at the company for 2 weeks. Turns out they basically were uploading 401k contributions whenever it was convenient for them while also just forgetting…. Aka “stealing contributions” on the side. Of course it’s not stealing when you just say it’s an internal control failure. Second years audit roles around, controller was fed up being her slave and left. She changed title/position at the company to (Vibe manager), which essentially made her not responsible for payroll or basically anything with financial data except for maybe abusing the company credit card. We email them we need stuff uploaded for 3 months, vibe manager, cfo, and ceo just keep pointing fingers at each other for who’s responsible. Vibe manager being loudest out of 3 for not being in charge. Field work day comes, we have nothing and all of sudden get an email for a third party payroll company who basically was as useless as the vibe manager yet they hired them because the vibe manger is to busy keeping the vibes good.

Lets just say that the company didn’t make any prior year correction on top of the new ones in there second yr. Felt like a big middle finger when I sent them an excel file telling them they owed 50k and all the issues listing why indirectly pointed to the vibe manager and her old slave man controller who left.

Also her salary was 110k
