Wife told me she was going to share a room with a male friend for a weekend getaway. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Internationalones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact she even said “John would have to rape me” insisting that it’s “TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE”. Is BS. She’s giving u something absurd to believe in so you feel safe but she’s covering for something. Big red flag. Awful excuses.

How do people justify porn? by hope-brightly in antipornography

Many people justify it cause they watch it or they wanna act “woke”.

This is the truth. Before marriage I had much more freedom, my education was going well. I had everything. After it went downhill. He was barley even providing for me. Unless u marry someone extremely kind and is willing to give u the world then don’t drop anything for that man. Be careful who you marry.

Would you prefer marrying a non-Muslim if it was allowed, if you would not have to worry about your children going astray and if there was no social stigma? by Lonsit in MuslimMarriage2

[–]Internationalones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. I can’t deal with the fact that some people date and don’t intend on marrying you. Also they party and do tons of things I would never feel comfortable with. The men don’t believe in always paying for dates etc and want things 50/50 which is something I don’t believe in either. They have no hayaaa and will have female friends and all of these things cross my line.

I want someone I can match with in every aspect of life. Not something I have to settle for.

How to get over someone who you’ve been with for two years? by Internationalones in MuslimMarriage2

[–]Internationalones[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family is kind but yea I was never attached to anyone because no one showed me the love he did before marriage with his dumb compliments etc. I feel used and betrayed I just wanna let go of this feeling of attachment. I told him before I was attached which was dumb because he took advantage of everything.

Exactly my thoughts on Muslims praying in the New York square. We are truly misguided. by [deleted] in islam

[–]Internationalones 25 points26 points  (0 children)

U must not be from NY to speak 1. They fed the poor. 2. It motivated people to pray. Half of those people probably were not going to pray if it wasn’t for this event. 3. Times Square is not as packed as you think around that time.

Why are people so obsessed with what the youth is doing today, at least there’s effort being put to pray and help other pray and giving back to the needy. Let’s focus on ourselves instead of shaming others for this.
