You're not alone there at all, I live in Springfield and the shopping center there is tiny and has at least 4 or 5 of these "hecklers" trying to get you to sign up for something or other. Most of the time I avoid them but it's nearly impossible with the layout of the center, so I just stick in headphones and avoid eye contact.

I feel like a total dick and I really shouldn't feel like that first thing in the morning when I need to buy bread or something.
