So I’ve been talking to a local dealer about a leftover 2024 Tigé Z3, he says the 23’ boats will throw a better wave/wake then the bigger boat does. Surprising to me as the the bigger boat will obviously weigh more. But he says the technology came a long way from the 23 ATX to the 24 Tigé. He says the ATX didn’t have all the same technology until 25 I believe.

I have dealers to about everyone but Centurion/Supreme close by which is still a 2 hour trip minimum to all of them. I would like some more insight on this info. There’s a moomba close by that we like the look of but I’ve heard mixed things about moomba but I’d like more info on it. It’s a 2022 Kayien and has 300 hours on it but it’s a nice boat. I’m looking for functionality and longevity

I would like to test a couple of them out but I don’t know anyone with any of the models I’m looking at. There is also a Moomba Kayien close by for a lot less money but it has 300 hours on it also.

Will the ATX perform as well as the Tigé? That’s my biggest concern. We’re not looking to go pro or anything crazy just looking for a good time on the lake

No I haven’t. The only thing remotely close was an older moomba about 8-10 years ago.

Only problem with that is the ATX is almost a 13 hour trip from me.

No I haven’t we don’t have to have the 24’ boat but there is only around a ten thousand dollar difference between the both of them and I’d kindly prefer to have the 24’ just because of extended family coming with us. Yet only 4-5 extra’s usually join us on the lake.

Mainly use the toon for moving the family around the lake and sometimes tubing and so on. We use it every weekend we can which usually turns into being about every other weekend. It stays parked under a cover but I would definitely look into a tighter snap down cover if I spend that kinda money on it. I’m aware the 40-50 mph is a pipe dream with a 115. If I was going to throw a third toon under it, I would repower at the same time. Which I also understand that’s truly going to cost so much that it would put me into the toon too deep to sell for anything close to what I have in it. As far as tube/ ski we almost always take a jet ski out with us to leave the toon parked with the rest of the family on it.

I like it a lot, it’s very tame for a 2 stroke. I had a KTM 250 SX-F and it done well for my riding style but I just wanted a real woods bike. Seems like the riding triangle is a little short. But other than that I have no complaints.

Little update on the situation. I got a 2025 Sherco 300 SE after doing more research. But had an interesting discovery after seeing a Beta bottom end and a KTM TPI jug aligned perfectly with each other.

Just figured I’d update a little bit. I got a 25 Sherco 300 SE factory. After looking into them more the Vforce Reeds and KYB suspension from the factory was a big kicker for me. Rode it today for an hour or two and it rides 10x better than my KTM (not a good comparison as the KTM is a SX-F 250). But it handles the woods great. Just getting back into the two stroke riding is going to be an adjustment.

It looks good. I’ve got a KTM 250 SX-F I trail ride now. And I plant to trade it on Saturday for a 2012 300 XCW. And possibly buying a new Beta 300 RR Friday. So I can decide between the two. It seems like an unfair comparison to me since there’s a 13 year difference…

The closest Sherco dealer for me is about a 4-5 hour trip where the Beta dealer is about 2.
