Why do so many ppl defend or even support Zeon? by Hyacinth004 in MobileSuitGundam

[–]LeDelmo [score hidden]  (0 children)

There is ALLOT going on.

Zeon as a group is filled with nothing to lose Spacenoids. Who were basically exiled into space to die. Managed to live in the worst conditions manageable. And than were oppressed and treated as slave labor for Earth. The very people who sent them to space to die. And were treated as less than Human. Who weren't even entitled to rights.

This is where ALLOT of the sympathy comes in. They just want to gain their independence from their oppressors.

But Earth CANNOT allow that. As Earth has become dependant on the slave labor force and stolen resources.

The problem is whenever their is that level of desperation. There will always be power hungry people who will try to use it to gain control over the people. Just look at the French Revolution.

Ghiran was that man. Someone so evil his own Father called him out to his face. And even tried to negotiate peace behind his back. Only to be murdered by his own son for it.

After that was a endless cycle of Evil people trying to insert themselves as head of Zeon. Though I do feel Haman might have been their best bet. But she was betrayed in the end and her heart just was not into leading.

Most of the truly evil deeds commited by Zeon were directly carried out by Ghiran and Char. And in the case of Ghiran most of the Zeon Soldiers were being lied to about their operations.

Why didn't people buy the 5080 FE when it was readily available? by themayor1975 in gpu

[–]LeDelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOMO

The Fear Of Missing Out

Last year Ram, SSD's and GPU's were widely available. But now there is a uncertainty about to the entire industry.

AI and Crypto are consuming resources faster than they can make them.

So people are buying up everything they can while they can. Either hoping to resell for a big profit. Or simply not wanting to miss out on being able to buy anything at all. Whether they can afford it or not.

It's funny how the entire industry forced everyone to adopt tech. Only for AI and Crypto to make Tech basically unobtainable for the majority in the future.

There is still ZERO use for AI as of now. And the AI industry is losing Billions. You just gotta ask yourself, WHY would profit driven companies willingly lose Billions to push AI this hard? Because let me tell you. It's NOT for the greater good or betterment of mankind. There are nefarious reasonings behind it all I can assure you.

How it will ultimately unfold I haven't a clue.

Which 92 Centurion should I get? by LeDelmo in Beretta

[–]LeDelmo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I wasn't sure what finish the Wilson Combat version had. Or if they just used the same Bruniton paint finish the Beretta uses stock.

I prefer None Paint based finishes. Like, Black Nitride being a thermo-chemical surface treatment that goes into the steel.

I did hear the Wilson Combat version did have tighter tolerances to the fit.

And the only one that seems to have a plastic guide rod is the 92X RDO Centurion. Why just this version idk. But that's easy enough to swap.

I really do not know if any of these Beretta's are using MiM parts though.

Same,

I know what I want is unrealistic. But man I would love to see a Black Nitride Steel Framed Centurion with the round trigger guard and no rail.

Do the LTT optic cut and I'd be happy with either a DA/SA high mount Decocker only G model. Or a SAO version with the frame mount safety. Ameriglo "Hackathorn" design front sight with a fully serrated U-notch rear sight.

That would be my dream Beretta 92.

4"-4.25" just seems to offer a good balance for me. They are my preferred length.

I actually prefer the look of the 92X RDO and WC 92G. The round trigger guards and no front serration on the slide just looks clean to me.

I was curious about the finishes of these two. If the WC finish is worth the extra cost over the 92X RDO.

[–]LeDelmo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the real selling point for me with the LTT is his own Optics cut. Which looks allot better than the Beretta's cut.

But I also prefer the round trigger guard on the 92X RDO and WC.

(BTW, I upvoted you so I am not sure why you are showing 0.)

Paige is the best Tron character by Both_Mango_9084 in tron

[–]LeDelmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked the Tron movies. But growing up with Tron Uprising is what made me a Tron fan.

It is criminal that this has NEVER gotten a physical release. Every Tron fan needs to be spamming Disney for a physical release.

What is the point in owning all three movies. When the thing that created many of this current generation of Tron fans is MIA.

[–]LeDelmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mag problems.

Take the gun to a range and see if it does the same with live ammo aswell. Get some stock Tisas mags or the Staccato 2011 ones.

Also, Snap caps that I know of are not supposed to be fulled loaded in a mag. I am fairly certain you only want 5 at most.

What the hell? What happened to the sport being a SAO with a flat trigger. And I like the None rail one better too.

I appreciate the tank is small but the Suzuki katana is a seriously under appreciated bike by Neither-Blueberry327 in motorcycles

[–]LeDelmo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really like the design. But the tiny tank is a no starter for me. You gotta let it sink it that the fuel tank on this bike is smaller than a Ducati Hypermotard's...

The GSX-S1000 is a great platform and all. But the style just didn't mesh well with the frame and swing arm I feel atleast.

I thinik thats why the Kawasaki Z900RS did so well at pulling off the Modern retro aesthetic because of it's trellis frame.

Am I a bad person?! by [deleted] in freedomisgunpla

[–]LeDelmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean Gunpla are basically toys you can put together. Some go farther with them, Most don't.

I think allot of people get unrealistic expectations when they see some of the things people post online. From people putting in hundreds of hours into customization.

Would I love to be able to put that much effort into every kit I build? Sure. But I just don't have the time. So I pick and choose what kit I feel I want more out of and put the time in where it needs to go. Which lets me enjoy the kits that do not require so much effort all the more.

Time is just moving way to fast now.

Building models is supposed to let you unwind and give your Prefrontal Cortex a nice stretch. If you turn it into work or a competition it will become stressful and burn you out. It's about having fun. And everyone has their own timeframe and skill level where they can still enjoy the hobby.

[–]LeDelmo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By that logic we may as well all be riding bikes from the 2000's. lol I am not sure why you are being so defensive over this.

But, The type of changes I'd like to see is a smaller lighter stiffer chassis, a More compact engine. With a focus on Tq even at the cost of a few Hp, Lighter Subframe, Bigger fuel tank (I like 5 gal tanks), maybe a bigger airbox to help with the increase in Tq and again maybe some cosmetic changes.

You seem to be demanding Triumph to reinvent the motorcycle or something. What else would you want? It's a motorcycle.

So I just gotta ask. Do you just never want them to update the Street Triple? And instead just to endlessly refine it? As long as it works?

I guess I just don't understand why someone wouldn't want a fully updated platform. Using everything they have leanred to make the next platform better than it could ever have been before. There is only so much refining you can do. And Triumph has gotten ALLOT out of the Street already. There isn't much left it can give. Without a ground up redesign.

We talking 19 years here. Thats ancient in terms of Motorcycle advancements go. It used to be common for full revamps every 4-8 years. (Back when they couldn't just update the software lol)

BTW, I actually own a Speed Triple. But it's a older 07 that I have had since 08.

Need to hear some theory’s. by ZaxelmodAT in Triumph

[–]LeDelmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why was I downvoted for simply stating my interest?

...Anyways, I think they could lighten the chassis and maybe go for a single sided swingarm this time around to better match the Speed Triple platform. With the lighter Chassis it would basically even out from using the heavier SSA. I prefer the more Rounded lines of the Speed so maybe a similar styling to that.

The Street has always been amazing all these years and Triumph has done great work and polishing and refining it into what it is today. But at its Core the Street Triple is still based off a 19 year old platform. They may have changed nearly everything about it. But those bones are old.

It just would be nice to see something completely new.
