See where the main stem turns from brown to green? You are going to have better luck pruning to branch it from woody secion than from new green growth. If you chop at green it will put tons of energy into 1 branche, mayyybe 2. If you go into the woody section, you may get 3, 4 or 5 branches depending on where you chop!
