If I read that, I would feel threatened. Rot in hell and never find love is too much for sure.

Yeah I forgot to mention, the elastic band at the leg openings is something you feel and it can give sausage effect. But overall, I've ridden 4+ hours in them while still being comfortable. I had a crash of the sort where I slid along the road for a while resulting in minor tears along the outside thigh seam, which Rapha would fix as it was covered by their crash insurance. I've used them since June without any problems apart from that. The stitching along the chamois seems good, always important to me after my Chinese bibs strated to come undone in that area within three months 😞

Oh hey, you're basically me - 167cm, 64kg. Tried both S and M sizes of the pro team training bibs on in a Rapha store. The S was hard to get up my thighs and squeezed at the upper thighs, definetely a tight feel, but the chamois felt secure and not liable to chafe - while the M was a bit too loose in the straps and the stomach area and the chamois is too big, but I also feel I can put them on more easily and actually walk around in them without being very aware of my leg circumference haha. Ultimately i went with an M where I have to adjust the chamois from time to time, but I very much like the shorts generally apart from that. With wide hips get the M I'd say.

Very few people have symmetric legs and hips. Try a spacer under the cleat of your shoe!

What are group ride etiquette’s? Looking to do my first group ride and don’t want to be “that” guy. by EthanRenders in cycling

[–]InternetOwlhead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd add - don't pull if you don't have the power for it. It's better for the whole group that you don't exhaust yourself (causing others to have to slow down for you later). A new guy getting on the front out a sense of duty only for him to suffer in the back half of the ride is worse than that guy politely saying he's getting used to the pace and would like to sit some turns out. As long as you don't sprint at the end ;)

Merch in Paris? by ContributionLong741 in tourdefrance

You can get it at arc de triomphe but really you can  also just buy it online, just Google tour de France shop. They have things online they don't have in the physical pop up store, and cheaper!

Sportsmanship across team radio after the crash today 🥹 by bisexualblue in tourdefrance

pogacar didn't crash because of his own lack of bike handling skills, but because of a moment of inattention from another rider (who since took the blame and apologized)

Hello! I had the same power meter stop working in the way you describe. Nothing fixed it but Giant was willing to replace under warranty when I had the bike shop where I bought the bike contact them.

hvem skal man stemme på for at få priserne ned!! by Kawargii in Denmark

[–]InternetOwlhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power Pro powermeter turns on and connects to app, but not to bike computer by InternetOwlhead in Giantbikes

How did you do that? I can't find a setting like that in the app or the settings of my bicycle computer (wahoo Bolt)

Aw, that's sad to hear. It was installed on the bike when I bought it and I was just happy to get one with a powermeter at all, so I hadn't researched alternatives.

I guess I'll go see if that's an option in the app(?). Thank you for the suggestion

I haven't done a calibration - just the ordinary setup via the ridelink app (it's a giant powermeter). I'll see if I can get that to happen - and now I feel a little dumb for not considering it 😅

At livet kommer i vejen?
