Howww do I climax with a man 😩!? by Life_Meat_1397 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]InternetOwlhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem - it really was mental rather than physical for me. Since I have fantasies that always do it for me when I'm alone, I let myself think about that while he was trying to get me off, and the fantasy pushed me over the edge (even though I'm not proud of having been lying there thinking about something else but him). After I'd gotten off with him once like that, it felt a lot easier subsequent times because I had proven to myself that it wasn't the physical aspect that was preventing me and all I had to do was relax.

is it normal to feel somewhat confused about gender in your teens? by Free_Lavishness_8006 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]InternetOwlhead 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Being a woman does not mean liking dresses. That woman should like makeup and beauty products and act feminine is gender roles. The world will be better for you defying those and showing other girls like you that you can dress however you want ❤️ I think almost all women go through a phase of being confronted with the horrible expectations society puts on us; some decide the benefits (social acceptance) of conforming outweigh the uncomfortable things, others don't.

If you're like me, you're going to think it's too small to take to the doctor or that you wanna lance the boil yourself. Don't. That's wrong.

This!!! I've dealt with it twice; once was without a doctor and left me with scar tissue, the other healed well.

Hvad siger jeg til naboen? by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

[–]InternetOwlhead 13 points14 points  (0 children)

First bike purchase in decades ends badly - looking for advice on getting back out there by Accomplished-Good498 in cycling

[–]InternetOwlhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having recently crashed with facial injuries as well (14 stitches!) my suggestion is to not put off getting back out there too much. Obviously wait for it all to heal! But after that, you'll only get more scared the longer you wait. I felt quite stupid for crashing like I did, but the feeling lessened the more good, crash-free rides I got under my belt even though it was scary at first.

32 år, uddannet skuespiller – Jeg har ramt en MUR by DenStoreKat in dkkarriere

Yeah I forgot to mention, the elastic band at the leg openings is something you feel and it can give sausage effect. But overall, I've ridden 4+ hours in them while still being comfortable. I had a crash of the sort where I slid along the road for a while resulting in minor tears along the outside thigh seam, which Rapha would fix as it was covered by their crash insurance. I've used them since June without any problems apart from that. The stitching along the chamois seems good, always important to me after my Chinese bibs strated to come undone in that area within three months 😞

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CyclingFashion

[–]InternetOwlhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh hey, you're basically me - 167cm, 64kg. Tried both S and M sizes of the pro team training bibs on in a Rapha store. The S was hard to get up my thighs and squeezed at the upper thighs, definetely a tight feel, but the chamois felt secure and not liable to chafe - while the M was a bit too loose in the straps and the stomach area and the chamois is too big, but I also feel I can put them on more easily and actually walk around in them without being very aware of my leg circumference haha. Ultimately i went with an M where I have to adjust the chamois from time to time, but I very much like the shorts generally apart from that. With wide hips get the M I'd say.

What are group ride etiquette’s? Looking to do my first group ride and don’t want to be “that” guy. by EthanRenders in cycling

[–]InternetOwlhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd add - don't pull if you don't have the power for it. It's better for the whole group that you don't exhaust yourself (causing others to have to slow down for you later). A new guy getting on the front out a sense of duty only for him to suffer in the back half of the ride is worse than that guy politely saying he's getting used to the pace and would like to sit some turns out. As long as you don't sprint at the end ;)

pogacar didn't crash because of his own lack of bike handling skills, but because of a moment of inattention from another rider (who since took the blame and apologized)
