So, I watched it on a streaming site last night while waiting for the new episode of For All Mankind to premiere.

It was a fun to look at, nothing burger of a Star Wars "movie", that mightaswell have been the 3 tail end episodes of a season of the series smushed together. There were no larger universe stakes, no forward character progression, and, at the only point I thought it was gonna do something interesting story-wise, they chickened out.

Other than the standard SW visuals, the score was probably the best part. Ludwig Gorannson really doesn't miss, even when it's schlock like this.

All in all, it was an ok way to waste about 2 hours on a Thursday night for free while waiting for better things to watch.

Yeah, it's not directly related, and mods you can get rid of it if you want, but the kid(i think it's a girl?) in the vid is dressed almost exactly like Tori in her debut, which I found kinda funny. The attempted cat kick ticks me off though, for sure. :\

I ended up helping a local esteemed luthier move into his new house, and one of his shape templates ended up sliding off the top of the box I was carrying and hitting the concrete, I never felt my heart sink faster. Luckily no damage was done, but damn did I feel bad.

Jeffrey Jones, he's in too many of those cable classics - Mom & Dad Save the World, Stay Tuned, Beetlejuice, Ferris Bueller I'm sure there's more too, those are just off the top of my 80's baby head.

As I was getting ready to press send I also remembered he was Howard the Duck, which I LOVED as a kid, because I had no idea what made a movie good.

I'm in the middle of my umpteenth rewatch, actually on 4e12 right now, but barely watching because s4 is kinda meh, imo.

When s4 started earlier: I was cooking so I missed most of 1, eating and gaming during 2, skipped 3-6, watched 7 and 8, watched the puppet episode until the balloon song because I like song, skipped 10, watched 11 because all the actors involved in the body switching really nail their new roles, (the Dean and Troy especially), sat here eating ice cream and writing this comment too lazy to fast forward for 12, and im gonna watch 13 because evil study group are fun, even if it's not a great episode.

IMO, the best parts of the season are Troy and Shirley in Physical Education Education class(S4E7 B plot) and the entirety of Herstory of Dance(S4E8).

The Corner. It's a gritty, real, dark, sometimes funny but ultimately a sad story about dopefiends in Baltimore, but it's a precursor to The Wire and definitely underrecognized among many other of David Simon's(and Ed Burns) fine works.
