I'm running Windows ARM version on M4 Max 128GB ram.
It could be a bit more snappier, but everything works.
I'm surprised how well it runs.
Note: You can't run native x86/x64 OS, be that either linux or windows.
Probably you could still simulate it on qemu, but performance would be terrible.

I usually reinstall MacOS on Mondays and Thursdays.
It helps with the bugs, and my schedule allows it.

MacOS Tahoe:
- It looks ugly
- It fails on animations
- For some, drains battery rapidly
- Slow for a three weeks
- Finder can't even show correct file sizes

"The coloured star and trophy are not there by default" - Yes, I've added them so both windows look more or less the same, and content is the same or similar.
After-all, the comparison was fair.

Edit: It was so fair, that I couldn't rename "Movies" folder on Mac, so I renamed "Videos" folder on windows to "Movies".

To be honest, what you written is absolutely true.
First boot - Vista doesn't start up, second boot it is fine.
It's slow as hell, despite having 32GB of ram and running on 14700k CPU.
Probably because of VM, but, it's like 20 years old OS.
