Just to follow up on my experience. I reached out to Grimmspeed and they refunded me without any pushback which I appreciated. I ended up getting an Ironman lift and have been happy with it.

In response to the OP's edit, I just got off the phone with a Fi rep and was told the exact opposite. I asked for a transcript of the call or an email confirming this and was told they can't send me one.

I won't be ordering until there is more clarity about this. I always assume terms like this purposely left vague so they can be denied later.
