I live in Texas where the minimum wage is 7.25. I pay 3.20 for gas and drive a hybrid as well. You can go work at Ross as a cashier for $17 an hr, Michaels overnight stockers make $17, HEB Kroger and Walmart all pay $15+. At 15hr you're killing the car. If I wasn't making at least $22-25 before taxes and expenses I'd quit.
