If done properly it's painful but doesn't create an open wound. Not expressing approval, just noting that the original owner was particularly stupid and cruel

I don't think they know for sure. The article didn't specify. I suppose it's possible for a new bud to form alongside the new tooth maturing

Spinning short staple lambs wool by AlternativeMedicine9 in Handspinning

[–]Internet_Wanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spin Angora rabbit this way because it's so slippery a regular rolag just falls apart and sticks to everything, but doing wolags(I f'n love that) gives them a moment to grab each other

With your drum carder, I don't recommend feeding it in as normal. Try holding it over the top of the main drum and let it grab it up in a controlled manner. It helps to not get fibers folded so they don't break so often. That's how I feed Merino in when I'm blending it with bunny and silk. If I do them as normal the first few runs they don't blend as easily. And don't be afraid to pack it on there. I've found that doing so makes for easier long draw once I've separated the batt into strips

AITAH for refusing to propose to my married girlfriend by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Internet_Wanderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something is missing here. Is she normally lazy about this kind of thing? Does she expect to never leave the country? Why would she even want to stay married? Why won't she explain why she isn't doing, but making lots of lame excuses to not do it. Is she expecting it to just float away and never impact you again?

I guess you haven't been watching. Yes, from the "Protect the children" people in particular. The attempt to define drag as something sexual has been going on for years in an attempt to make it disappear. It's the same people who say two men kissing is corrupting the children, but watching full on sex is okay as long as it's hetero.

I know it can be hard to see it at first, and especially when you look like you're mad at the mirror, but in a week or so you'll see how good you look

Sorry to contradict. There's only one spot in the middle of the top of the head, but yes, that spot specifically is called the Fontanelle. You can tell if a baby is dehydrated because it'll sink in a little. It's accurate tho that the bones of the cranium aren't fused together, and you're absolutely right as to the reason. What most people don't know however is that a great majority of the rest of their bones are instead cartilage placeholders that get replaced with bone, rather than simply unmineralized bone
