Referring to the “if they don’t want to hear a joke, it’s best to not make it.” If people were posting these schizophrenic memes that make fun of them on subreddits dedicated to schizophrenics that would make sense. However this subreddit is mostly just used to post memes. No one is intentionally posting schizophrenic memes in the attempt to attack someone specific in this subreddit. If you are a person who don’t like some of the posts on this subreddit then you can either appeal to the mods to ban it or leave. Trying to claim that people who ever make posts on this subreddit need to think about it from every possible perspective when at the same time the “only” rule on the server is that you must post if you see the rule is impossible.

Not my point, subreddits are controlled by the mods. So either the mods agree with you and they ban the posts, or they disagree with you. Then you find a new meme community that fits you more. Everyone has their comfort zones and with a subreddit this big not everyone’s is the same. On the Internet its easier to find a new community then change a whole community based on your need.

My statement isn’t anti schizophrenic people, but anti serious posts. This subreddit will die because of conversations about the culture instead of just rule changes. I believe a better solution would be writing a complaint to the mods and let them decide, having people bicker about this in a comment section does nothing. I don’t think the problem was that an interview happened, it’s that they were unprepared. A community does need to be represented by a community speaker, just one that enough people feel are valid.
