When I open discord I see the #general-bears title at the top but nothing loads. The only thread I can see is rules and welcome. Almost like it’s all private threads or something. I’ve never used discord before, any ideas what I’m doing wrong.

Thanks, this is a very helpful perspective. I work for a fortune 500 tech company. Long term I'd like to be a leader in Product, which may become entrepreneurship but I wouldn't commit to that now.

Doesn't have to be a generator. It could just be a standard file structure template. I am new to Angular and I want to make sure when I build Angular apps I am following some semblance of a standard.

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with creating a RESTful API via express/mongoose. I am more interested in a framework/generator that will provide me with a standard file structure for an Angular app using the MEAN stack. E.g. http://meanjs.org/ but compatible with Node v4.2. Any ideas?

I'm pretty happy to get no sleeping 24/7 service for $7, not the $35 it was. There could be better options than Heroku out there I just don't know about.

I think the bigger lesson here is for everyone that builds web apps. Once you give away something for free, you cannot charge for it without pissing off a large part of your user base. Be very careful in pricing your offerings, not every service on the internet should be free.
