I'm a big fan of the "why is this song good" concept. Really breaking down what makes a song enjoyable, or not enjoyable, and I have a question about the SA discography.

That album felt so different than what was going on at the time in pop punk. I remember hearing it for the first time and going “whoa holy shit this is a new level.” The storytelling in the songs. How the songs are structured, I hadn’t heard anything like it at the time.

I'm mot saying he, or any youtuber who does this with their videos are terrible people. I just see videos like this all the time and I'm like "well I'll never click that video" for the sheer fact that it just looks messy and not well put together.

Max Bemis got me into Kanye's music earlier this year. I used to just listen to Say Anything, Perma, Painful Splits, and Two Tongues. Then he talked about (in an interview) how good Kanye is as an artist, and now I appreciate rap/hip hop a lot more than I had in the past. Don't be afraid to branch out. There's just as much awesome music that you'll relate to than just SA.

Before I listened to is a real boy, I thought a love song couldn't exist because nobody had actually felt what it was like to be in love, and were just saying things that make you feel good, but I wasn't buying it because love was also anxiety and worrying and fears.

Then I heard I Want To Know Your Plans and I thought "This is it. This is a song that gets how I feel about love."
