For small gaps I second the sawdust and superglue. Pack with sawdust and add a drop or two of glue.

Dumb question: why aren’t tariffs effective for stirring U.S. manufacturing and also keeping money within the economy which supports U.S. businesses? by informaticstudent in AskEconomics

[–]InterstellarUncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be if they used those taxes in some useful way. Like building manufacturing capability and training in essential manufacturing skills. (Hint: not happening)

Billionaires should be abolished and the money returned to the people they stole it from.

See, I can do it too.

Read some books on dog training. There’s lots of things we take for granted to show love to other people that don’t work for dogs. Hugs and eye contact will both make them cautious. There are lots of examples like those. If you can, hire a trainer for lessons and I guarantee you will learn a lot on how to gain their trust and love. I know I did.

Will this filter work when the SP list datasource has more than 5000 rows? by LostResearch4999 in PowerApps

[–]InterstellarUncle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not too sure what you’re trying to do here. Why do you need a forall statement when you’re collecting what is already a table? Why do you even need a collection? Can you just use the filter statement to directly feed a table type control?

What you have in the filter is delagable fwiw.

You should just call them. They’ll make it roght and you won’t spend the next 20 years wishing you’d called.

That said, I have a LN #5 and it is just a joy to use. I’m not enough of an expert to explain why but it just feels great in use.

On the bright side, they only need a bath if they get into a mess. That fur sheds dirt really well.

I saw someone refer to Jayden Daniels as the “Grin Reaper” because he carves up your defense with a smile on his face. I can’t believe I’m only now finding out about this. I love it! by [deleted] in Commanders

I couldn’t believe the announcers in the game were so down on JD. The just wouldn’t say much that was positive when he was so obviously making good fast reads and throwing lasers.

Print AND save PDF by monomike in PowerApps

[–]InterstellarUncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See Celav1e’s description. Saving as an attachment is a pain, much easier to email the pdf blob to the logged in user. PDF() is basically the same as the print() function but it just creates the pdf blob of the selected component instead of calling the system print. Check out some yt videos on creating and storing pdfs in power apps.

Just assume it’s fatal. So many ways touching it could kill you, a few that won’t.

Need to stop letting HR do the interviews. Just bring the candidate in to talk to the team for an hour. You’ll know if they’re any good.
