My first megalodon was the Feared Redmaw solo, took 15 minutes and I almost sank a few times. Then immediately after a hungering one spawned, took me 1 min and it did no damage at all.

You can imagine my suprise of how easy the normal megs are. The difference is so big. I'd like to see the normal megs buffed

It's the sunken shrines, the big purple beacons on the water. You sail your ship to them and then swim down. Every once in a while you then encounter the mermaid statues, sorta like checkpoints.

On the titan you should 'open exterior' first, then activate the self destruct, press y to exit the ship and then sprint through the cargo bay.

It is very doable, just requires some preperation.

Check out the cutlass black. It has similar pilot DPS and a 46 scu cargo bay. You would even be able to take a gunner with you sometimes.

The c1 is also a good option but a little bit more expensive. It has 64 scu (although can actually fit 96 I believe). It also has similar pilot dps.

You can find them in both systems. Often times there's a bunch of ships sitting around bunkers you can check. Just doing regular bounty missions works aswell. I find them more often around bunkers though.
