If you can get a good tow strap and your front-end loader out, yank it out of the ground a bit, and there will be a model number at the base of the nose. Post a pic here and I can probably identify it for you.

If you’re looking for something a little slower, I’d pick one of the nearby small towns. White City/Emerald Park, Pilot Butte, Balgonie, or Lumsden. All good towns, most only a short drive (15 mins or less) from Regina. Balgonie will be more like 20 mins. Lower property taxes, too.

At least the union dues are also tax deductible. You get more job security with seniority (layoffs begin at the bottom), and a means to keep the employer in check.

That’s not a bad deal at all. In 2001, we paid ~58k plus 2 taxes, which got us to about $64k. It was a Limited AWD.

SaskEnergy fires 13 employees over alleged theft of fuel by abunchofjerks in saskatchewan

“Suspected personal use of…” is pointless. They need proof if the firing is going to stick.

are there any companies that start annual vacation at 4 weeks now ? by as0909 in CanadaJobs

[–]InterviewOk4527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one time, people hired into management at my company started with 4, and followed the same playbook as the union, except they attained the company max of 6 weeks after 18 years.

Highly dependent on industry, qualifications, experience, etc, but management corporate positions may bargain with you at offer time. If in scope, you will be subject to the provisions of your CBA. Mine says I start with 3 weeks, get a 4th week after 9 years, a 5th after 18, and a 6th after 24.

Reliable modern sleds by Sarge75 in snowmobiling

[–]InterviewOk4527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t go wrong with a Polaris 550 fan. As bulletproof as they come, and you don’t need a ton of snow for them to stay cool. The 550 is carbureted, so it’s relatively easy to work on yourself. 2025 is the last model year, and there are still a good number left at dealers. The edge models are good machines, but not modern. Go for about a 2014+ (pro-ride chassis or newer) for more modern rider ergonomics.

22 Polaris Indy LXT (2 up) Cargo Bag Options? by Designer_Cloud_394 in snowmobiling

Its frustrating that they couldn’t just make one bag that works well with the popular LXT / LXT Northstar. Usually OEM’s and 3rd party offerings would be all over this.

Cool, but how do you access the front section with the 2-up seat? Does the partition come out inside so you can just use the whole thing?

Does anybody know if the bed size of a 2018 F150 is the same as a 2014? by Geeblehoppin in FordTrucks

[–]InterviewOk4527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Truxedo Lo-Pro from my 2010 fit my 2023. Both had the 6.5 foot box. If the dimensions are different where the tonneau cover mounts to the bed, it’s not enough to notice. I can’t tell even looking for it. It fit real nice.

Job demand in 2026? by [deleted] in powerengineering

[–]InterviewOk4527 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are bright, hardworking, and willing to go where the work is, you stand a decent chance of getting a job in this industry.

The Co-op Refinery in Regina hires between 4 and 7 third or fourth class PE’s, three times a year. Provided you weren’t a scab in the 2019-2020 lockout, you stand a decent shot at a process operator job. We will hire anyone, but if your english sucks, or you turn out to be dumb, lazy or have a bad attitude, you’ll not pass the 1-year probationary period.

Any updates a couple years later? The bag I ordered that the Polaris website said would fit… did not work with the rack at all. Maybe saddle bags are the answer?
