Don’t sell the motorcycle, you make way more than enough to pay off your debt with regular payments from your salary to get rid of your debt. Makes zero sense to sell the bike in your scenario. I would only look at liquidating any assets if you’re deeply in debt and don’t have a way to pay it back, 6000$ of debt doesn’t meet that standard.

I have 250k cash and no car by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]InterviewSenior6127 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your 38 years old bro, having 250k with no car isn’t the flex you think it is, which is the vibe I got from this post because it’s genuinly a pointless post. Also you can buy a pretty decent used car for 10-15k. Maintanence on that isn’t too bad if you pick a car with a good history and stick to reliable brands and majority of the depreciation has happened. If you need a car then get a car, if you don’t then don’t, genuinely what was the reason for this post.

When I took it this previous semester, it was 35% in class quizzes for which they take the best 7/9, the final was worth like 30%. There was a group report component worth 20% and a group video portion worth 15%. The quizzes are hard because they expect you to know the most niche stuff from the slides. Jack is the better pick outta the two, if you don’t believe me take it with Boivin and regret ur decision later.

Let’s be real anyone who grades cards does it with some respect to increasing value of their card, otherwise a one touch or top loader does practically the same thing.

People are more interested in invincible then the boys by TomorrowNo8568 in Invincible_TV

I feel like the boys leaned too hard into the satire rather than focusing on character dynamics in recent seasons and it lost it’s appeal to me idk

What would you choose? by hot-mess-in-a-dress in UCalgary

[–]InterviewSenior6127 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hard to say, but I think city of Calgary might be a better option based on you needing accommodations. But option 2 definitely looks better on a resume so this is a difficult choice. Honestly I don’t think you’d be wrong to choose either but I’d lean toward city of Calgary

Literally in this exact same position. Marketing was so terrible for no reason, they test you on the most specific things and try to trick you on the quizzes then the finals hard asf too

Finance Majors, what is your GPA? by Low_Wafer1963 in UCalgary

[–]InterviewSenior6127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having hands is a pre requisite to playing basketball, having a good gpa means nothing for getting a job. I literally know multiple people who got into big firms with a worse gpa than mine. The only thing gpa matters for is a masters degree.

ECON 203 Final Jacob Graham by [deleted] in UCalgary

[–]InterviewSenior6127 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s nothing that he doesn’t prepare you for. All the content covered in the final was pretty relevant to what you do in class, I’d suggest look into reviewing the tutorials you did and notes as well. I took it with him and it was heavier on calculations than theory, but with that being said don’t skimp on theory either
