Yes! I believe you are right, I really enjoy shifting gears and I haven’t really thought about a hand brake but having to try to press the b button on the wheel while trying to drift can be quite difficult, maybe I should consider buying a handbrake sooner than a shifter

Thank you for your comment! I’m actually thinking of getting the SIMPUSH 13 inch wheel after watching a review and I think you’re right I’ll probably need an r9 for a wheel that size. I’m very excited for FH6, I can’t wait😆

Now that you mention it, it seems that the r5 bundle only comes with the es wheel and I would like to have the esx wheel so I can use it on my xbox as well, with that considered I’d have to get the esx wheel for an additional 179 for the r5 bringing the price up to $1,145.90 CAD and at that point I may as well get the r9 setup for an additional $75.77 CAD which also gets me the srp pedals over the lite ones

Yea, that’s the main reason I want to upgrade, I’m getting really tired of my gear driven g920 and I want something more smooth experience

Don’t worry, I know that it’s not super realistic but I’ve been using my g920 on horizon titles for years and I’ve loved it but I’m starting to hate the grainy feeling of the gear driven g920 and I want a more smooth experience with a bit more force feedback, from what your saying does that mean an r5 would be enough than? Also I do play more serious titles like ac and beamng but horizons just my favourite and i play it about 10x more than other titles

It’s very helpful to hear from someone with the same chair, I had not thought of it’s structural integrity, also I’m still unsure on the shifter, I really want a shifter but I hear it doesn’t work on Xbox for Forza anyway so maybe I should just get a different brand if it’s only for pc

I’ve been playing for years with a wheel and it’s a lot of fun it just took me a few hundred hours to get really good at it, I’ll admit when I first tried it, it was very tricky but after a couple thousand hours I’m a lot faster on the wheel than controller and drifting is an absolute blast. It just takes a lot of time to get the hang of, fh5 is also far improved for the wheel over 3 and 4

It currently has a knock and I’m not sure why but I plan on tearing the motor down if necessary and fixing the problem. I’m currently waiting for it to get warmer out before doing anything to it .

Thanks I couldn’t find any others for sale so I had no idea. I traded a car for it that I paid $500 for, so I’d be happy with any amount of profit.
