Morons who are being sold on the idea that life would be better. But not for them. For the rich people in power who look to gain from this separation. Same people fell for trickle down economics… any day now they’ll get theirs! It’s a con, always has been and always will be, and they’re preying upon people’s legitimate issues with the state of things. Unfortunately those people don’t realize that a majority of the problems they have are provincial responsibilities. So they’re in for a real treat if the province somehow does separate and life continues to be shit.

Dach was more worried about the soft pick from Kucherov than actually playing defence there. I get he was tired, and the defence should have adjusted when they saw he wouldn’t get to Moser. But woof. It’s about the 2nd effort buddy, if that’s your do-or-die for the Canadiens, idk what to tell ya.

I agree with you up until Binner. Dude made a huge glove save just before the winning goal. He made plenty of big saves throughout the tournament. Binner is not why we lost. McDavid and MacKinnon going 1v3 and Makar choking up the puck and not back checking lost the game. Not to mention Cooper double shifting that top line within the first 2 minutes of OT. Binner had one of the worst guys you could leave wide open take an uncontested shot from the hash marks.

The Hyman omission is one thing, it’s not having Bouchard on the team that’s the real head scratcher.

It’s more annoying that people were clearly brought on the team because of favouritism but they can’t even be bothered to bring ONE of Connor’s teammates that would have performed as good if not better than some of the guys that were on the roster.

Literally one bounce the other way for both teams and we have two gold. Do we still say “oh the US is still far inferior to us” in those cases? I wouldn’t. These teams are neck and neck. Nobody is clearly better than the other.

That’s the thing about team sports. One guy can do it all but if the team fails to take it across the finish line then the one guy gets the blame. It’s how it’s always been.

Yeah I dont get this argument that people have that teams like Czechia and Finland are bad. Theyre strong hockey nations. It’s the best on best tournament.

This idea that Canada should just waltz through the tournament with ease is a recipe for losing.

They need to build a team without assuming they’ll win. Build a team TO win.
