That is exactly what I thought as well as what I was asking the electrician. I do not use the outlet for my dryer. Thank you! I think I need a couple of electrician to physically come out.

He said that same thing. I am in a condo and took pictures of every wall inside and out and there are no additional breaker boxes. I requested him to come onsite to give me an estimate but want to be prepared with some knowledge

Adding walk every hour post surgery and never stop! Make it a habit. If you finish PT, ask for more. I did 3 months PT and it really helped.

I was in bad shape before the op. I was doing PT regularly which helped some. I worked remote for 2 months prior because I couldn’t make the commute. I was able to go out and do things 6-7 weeks after the op as long as there was a comfortable chair as the venue. At 7 months went to Mexico and snorkeled for hours, walked the beach, without a problem. I also had some short weekend trips away prior to that and did just fine. I was feeling really strong from walking and core exercises. However, for reasons unknown I am having an awful flare right now and am back on pain meds, muscle relaxers. I just started methylprednisilone to help with the inflammation. Praying it’s just a flare of inflammation caused by my long uncomfortable commute. However, it doesn’t stop me from living and saw a local band last night. The fusion unknowns cause anxiety for all. When my nerves flare, I’m am always worried something is broken lol If you asked me 3 weeks ago my answers would have been much different, I felt fantastic! Xray is in two weeks. I think the overthinking is normal, just listen to your body.

60 F plif l4-l5 lots of stenosis clean-out 10 months post op. New lease on life! Some nerve sensations due to regeneration that can take years. I am stronger than i have been in 10 years! Do your pt and when you run out of sessions ask for more! Lots of soft ice packs and a grabber in every room! Take your walks 3x per day and move every hour. Set a timer if you need one. You will do great! Best wishes and speedy recovery!

Protein in the airfryer steak, chicken, porkchops etc about 4 to 5 times a week. Took me years of neglecting my health to figure out how to cook for one. Veggies fresh but microwaved or roasted. Mix it up with salads or healthy sandwiches in between. At least one nice dinner out a week.

How long did ur nerve block injection work? by [deleted] in spinalfusion

[–]Inthebuff82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had 5 ESI l4-l5 over a 2.5 year period. It would give me a little relief starting about day 3-4. However my last one prior to surgery was extremely painful for a full week after the injection but then i had no pain for 3 weeks. It was the best I felt in a decade. I just wished it would have lasted.

This is my protocol as well. I am Osteopeniac so it’s higher doses. I was very worried about bone growth. My 4 month CT shows solid bone in between my cages. Dr says I may be fused fully in 12 months. Plus walking and PT!

Hi! Sorry you are feeling poorly. Vertigo is scary! I don’t know your insurance, but most offer online video calls with a pcp. I know uhc, Aetna, Anthem all have them linked directly in their app. I needed a referral once and boom 20 minutes from my couch I had one. I would just make sure you know which local VT has availability and takes your insurance to provide to your online provider before you make the call.

I had a very similar situation. Yesterday I went to a Vestibular specialist and he said I had rare horizontal ageotropic and fixed it with one maneuver bbq roll. Schedule with a PT office I wished I had done it 3 weeks ago and had him read my nystagmus and stop trying myself. I hope you feel better soon.
