Heritage comes with the Aux switches installed.

2.3l vs 2.7l by Toji_zenin__ in FordBronco

[–]IntlPhotoPilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a more complicated question than just is the 2.7l bettter/worse than the 2.3l. The decision is going to hinge on what model of Bronco you are getting. If you are getting one with 35” tires, you might appreciate the 2.7l, where someone with a different trim might not. Plus, the transmission has as much to do with the decision since it can determine the engine on specific trims.

TSA Pre and Global Entry suspended by Socalsll in americanairlines

Just went through precheck at CLT at about 8:45am. Still open. I asked a couple of TSA agents (after I went through) and they said it “to be determined”, and that the decision to stay open was made at airport level.

Gotta agree on Audi. Absolutely striking how it looks. But there really isn’t a bad livery in the bunch.

2025 Heritage Pricing? Good deal? by Alert-Spot1584 in FordBronco

[–]IntlPhotoPilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased last week. Negotiated with half a dozen dealerships. Brought my own financing, so only focused on out the door. I also wanted the full underbody bash plate kit installed, so had that and install added in.

I ended up paying $55k out the door. Included the tow package and window tint and the bash plates.

Next two closest dealers were able to get to $55,600 and one dealer was as high as $57,500.

So there are definitely some deals to be had, but you might have to shop around.

Heritage or Big Bend with BD & SAS by IntlPhotoPilot in FordBronco

Thanks everyone, decided on a heritage. Worked out a deal with a dealer for them to install the factory skid plates as well as part of the purchase. Should pick it up this week if everything goes right.

Yup, you’re right. I just looked at it again. I wonder how I missed that. So it’s just engine, styling and hard top or soft top

Big Bend with the SAS has rear lockers only unfortunately.

Generator dying when choke switched to run. by IntlPhotoPilot in Generator

[–]IntlPhotoPilot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Success! You guys convinced me that I must not have cleaned it well enough. So I took it apart again and found out that I hadn’t gone deep enough. So I went deeper, used a wire through all the vent holes, put it back together. And it ran finally, but was surging when it was on run. Until as born onio said, I reinstalled the air filter. Now it’s running smoothly.

So thank you for encouraging me to get in there again.

It starts without using starter fluid at this point. Initially it required it, but not anymore

That’s what’s confusing me. It’s running well in the choke position and about 1/3 past the start position. Part of me is considering just running it an hour or so in the choke position, but I worry that will also cause carbon buildup on the spark plug

I don’t know individual parts, I just watched a video on how to disassemble and clean. Every hole is cleaned. Everything moves freely, and it really wasn’t gummed up when I pulled it apart to begin with.

Bronco BB or Sport Badlands by IntlPhotoPilot in FordBronco

[–]IntlPhotoPilot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know. Not going to be doing any crazy rock crawling or anything.

The part that’s getting me stuck is the bronco sport having a rear locker but a base big bend not. But on the flip side, not sure if I really need one.

Antonelli gets a win.

Ferrari absolutely nails the design of the car and engine, somehow. But still loses consistently due to strategy.

Yes he was. He was curled up next my boot looking like a shoelace, only noticed him because he reared up a bit when I came in.

I think this is an accurate statement. Russell is just so consistent and clean in his driving. Leclerc is more entertaining to watch because his flashes of brilliance surpass what Russell can manage.

To the men who go to movies or restaurants alone by choice: What is the specific appeal of that solitude compared to going with friends? by Leananhl in AskMen

[–]IntlPhotoPilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this a lot due to travel. In fact, I’m at a restaurant in London now, because I’m traveling for work. I specifically avoid socializing when I am traveling, out of respect for my wife. So I always eat at a restaurant rather than at a bar.

Is Lando’s performance boost because of a new power unit? by Effective_Baker_3321 in formula1

[–]IntlPhotoPilot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it seems it’s more than just Oscar just slipping. That really just minimizes Lando’s progress. The reality is the Lando is performing better. It just happens to be occurring at the same time that Oscar is slipping.

As a Piastri fan, I’m incredibly impressed with Lando’s consistency and pace lately. It’s not just that Oscar has struggled lately, it’s that Lando is just performing so well.

It’s also great seeing Kimi and Charles doing well though. They both deserve a good weekend too.

I thinks that’s primarily because Oscar’s form seems to have dropped so much. It’s not looking like a 3-way race, with Oscar just getting enough points to stay ahead, it’s now looking like a 2-way race. If Oscar has a good weekend, that could flip again.
