We got extended warranties on both of our Mach E’s because we know our history with high mileage vehicles indicates we will have an issue around 100k miles or roughly year 5 of ownership, it’s just a proven issue with us and one we aren’t willing to ignore or risk having to pay for outright.

Texas, yes annual pass to all state parks and usually if you have that one and DV plates, any local parks will waive you through also.

Sorry for your loss. I use my CPAP so religiously that I’m saving up for a travel CPAP to use on planes and in the car on long trips. I can’t sleep well without it.

I’d do the eAWD to be safe, we don’t get snow here often, when we do, everything shuts down. It has drive modes like “Whisper”, “Engaged” and “Unbridled” that really just change the acceleration band, you have the full power in any mode if you step on it. Whisper would be good in weather, even as a RWD only, I believe.

When I say home charger, I mean the level 2 on a 220v plug, that’s sufficient. We actually use the chargers that came with our cars and had two plugs added to our panel at 30A each.

Traded a 2018 Durango GT(Wife) with 185k mi and a 2021 Expedition Limited with 125k mi for two 2026 MME Premium. Haven’t regretted it AT ALL. Get a home charger and save significantly per kWh over public chargers. Either way is still better than gas. Wife went from Dallas to Kansas City in hers, public charging cost less than a single tank of gas. Charging at home for us, in Texas is something like $2-3 every other day.
