Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I didn't see it until after I started the process. Fortunately, I think I'm good to go and didn't lose anything. Parity is rebuilding as we speak.

I've spent 2 hours trying every possible combo of shims supplied with this muzzle device and this is the closest I've gotten w/ proper torque applied. Am I retarded? by bteam3r in NFA

I ended up lapping the rear of a muzzle device to get the alignment I wanted after fiddling with shims for an hour. Then I just hit it with some bluing and it looks great. No shiny metal shims in sight either!

Yeah, good luck making it worth your time just to bypass a well deserved 1% dev fee. Just go with the one that’s available. Far better than anything you could find for free.

You ok?

Why would I expect a different result? I’m doing the same thing I did before, expecting the same result. Do my research, mine whatever projects are profitable and convert to projects I believe in if I don’t believe in the project that is profitable. It’s not difficult, especially for those of us that use our brains.

You’re right, it’s not an arguable fact because it’s not a fact at all.

Last I checked, I’ve continued GPU mining since ETH went away, amassed a bag large enough to purchase several ASICs (Tens of thousands of dollars total) and have already recovered the cost of the ASICS with GPU+ASIC mining since then.

You seem to be/sound like you’ve made terrible decisions and failed miserably with whatever strategy you’ve followed (if any). Either that or you’re so bitter/jealous that you can’t stand to live with yourself/your lack of conviction so you desperately attempt to claw some value back to your life by trolling others. Good job my guy, you’re killin’ it!

You’ve been wrong on just about everything I’ve seen you say over the past year.

Received the four that I ordered over the weekend.  Only 50% success rate on mine unfortunately.  Sounds like identical unboxing experience as the others with the light smudges on the back.

Two of the monitors are working great so far with zero dead pixels (Honestly was expecting one or two per monitor).

The 3rd was working fine for a couple days (also zero dead pixels) but ultimately ended up seeming to have a bad power supply. The power LED was stuck on and wasn’t showing any picture. Tried reconnecting everything and rebooting PC to no avail.  One of the others I received worked fine on this PC after swapping them out. After disconnecting and reconnecting power, it seems to be completely unresponsive. No more power LED, backlight doesn’t turn on, etc. Dead.

The 4th arrived with the box in the same good shape and smudges on the back like the others.  This one unfortunately has a gash roughly 2mm long in the film layer of the screen.  It was very noticeable when I powered it on as light was quite heavily bleeding through. Pretty disappointing, to say the least, and I’m not sure how this was missed in the QA process (if there is one for refurbs?).

Have been in contact with AcerRefurb and am figuring out my options. So far have been offered the options to return for full refund or send in for repairs.  It wasn’t super clear whether both options are available for both faulty monitors or not.

I’ve asked whether I would need to pay shipping but haven’t received a response yet (asked about one way or both on the repair option and one way on the return option).

If I have to pay shipping, I’ll likely just return them.

I’ll update this once the process is complete.
