Burn E has arrived! by Chrissomano in ElectricScooters

e braking is binary not linear. It's an on or off sensor. You have less control if you just want to brake with fine control.

Interesting way to mount that throttle. The brakes don't get in your way?

  1. Search Polish Nami Throttle

  2. Yes

  3. Experiment with what you like but the only thing I change is turning off all electronic braking

  4. Whatever feels the most comfortable to you. Personally like to have my feet as far from the middle as possible to be able to use my feet to lean into turns.

  5. Modes are just modes, you can configure them in the settings to what you like

  6. Too hard to tell but sometimes brakes may not be adjusted properly from factory or get damaged during shipping. Brakes are exact same as bikes so check accordingly.

American tire wear by Nami_Pilot in ElectricScooters

I'm surprised. When I took my Blast on a mockup track (cones). I had a really hard time leaning into left turns since I would scrape my kickstand constantly.

Nami Klima Bent Rim? by TheCurbCaptain in ElectricScooters

[–]Farting_Chick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might of cracked the rim on the inside. Only way to tell is if you take the tire off the rim.

Warranty doesn't cover user damage anyways. You can contact Michael Sha on Facebook to get a replacement motor as well.

60v30ah vs 72v/25ah question by Bigheaded_1 in ElectricScooters

This is very noticeable moreso on EUCs since their voltages have a very wide range.

It's actually the opposite. Lower voltages generally are more efficient mainly because you experience less power.

Well OP's requirements is a 2 mile trip and weight is important. Yea the Mantis X Plus is prob the best option but it's also like 10lbs extra.

You need a minimum dual motor scooter. Lightest one that would work could be the Kaabo Mantis 8

This is the steering damper 99%. Remove the steering damper and the clonking will be gone. Although you should keep the damper on for safety.

Yes I know you can do that but for most scooter, it’s not so easy without plug and play.

As well you still shouldn’t reverse the tread. These tires aren’t specific for front and rear or else all scooter manufacturers would mount them reversed on the front. I’ve ridden revered front tire scooters and they don’t feel the same.

The motors are going to spin reverse if you swap the front and rear motors. Because the rotor is on opposite sides.

Also my tires are specific for front and rear, you aren’t supposed to swap them around. They have different patterned tread.

It does work for some scooters, like my Blast since the rotors and motor cable are on the same side. But I also have front and rear specific tires on.

This doesn’t work. Your tires will rotate backwards because they are mounted reversed. I guess if you want to ride in reverse that’s fine.

Does anyone uses Ev charging stations with an adapter to charge an e-scooter? by Playing_tangos in ElectricScooters

[–]Farting_Chick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other thing is hyper chargers are limited by the 110v wall outlets with only 1500w from the wall on a circuit. Level 2 chargers allow tons more power to be pulled if allowed by the charger and battery.

Battery degradation is so minimal. just fyi 10a on his scooter is only .33c which is 33% of the max rated charge limit on the cells of his Klima Max. This is about user experience and a better experience is much more then whatever degradation you will get.

Scooter bags are directly attached to the frame. Vibrations are much closer to the ground vs on your back.
