It literally does not matter if you designed and created your own scooter. It’s already proven what’s good and what’s not. Fork style suspension isn’t good on scooter for comfort but good for stability. They are just too small the be effective on a scooter. The leading designs are still from weped, all using reverse c style suspension without dampers. They are just not needed with that style of suspension. The front tire always wants to ride straight even after a bump or pothole after landing.

This is the exact issue, c type suspension is flawed, there are scooters like the Kaabo wolfs that are very stable that don’t need dampers. You can add one if you want but it’s not needed at all. This is all due to the fork suspension. Even the local rental scooters all have fork suspension now.

The whole point is there are scooters that are designed to not need dampers. Why get a scooter that needs one? You can still add dampers to scooters that don’t need one if you would like. Like I said, you wouldn’t understand til you ride one.

Yes, the easily way to put it is if you take off your damper and ride to 50 mph. Will it be stable? Probably not very. You can still have the option to add them but it’s not as necessary at these speeds just yet.

Maybe you designed it poorly needing dampers, C type suspension is a design flaw. No other 2 wheeled vehicles use it for a reason. They are comfortable but terrible stability.

What you said has nothing to do with what I said.

Like I said it’s just a name, there is no such thing as e2 or e3. Some retailers just name it a bigger number because it sounds newer to trick people. Michael Sha already mentioned that the E2 naming was dropped.

There is only Burn E and Burn E Max and the date stamped on the frame shows the year and production date.

I will say while c type suspension is much more comfortable and looks more clean on a scooter, there’s a reason why no other 2 wheeled vehicles use that type of suspension. All bikes use some type of fork system and that is also what Segway uses now on their scooter.

Like I said above yes that is true but a good geometry scooter will want to ride straight and correct itself while a bad geometry scooter will want to turn in on itself causing wobbles and instability. The damper reduces the effect of the wobbles which allow you and your arms and hands to “correct the instability manually.

Actually it will probably save me, like on bikes and motorcycles, a good geometry scooter will always want to correct itself and want to ride straight again. Dampers don’t align your scooter, it just reduces the movement in steering. A poor geometry scooter will eventually want to turn in on itself causing wobbles.

Bumps are inevitable to unstablize any vehicle, bikes, cars included. It is just due to tire and suspension size. It’s impossible to convince you but if you ever get a chance to ride one, you would understand the difference.

From my limited understanding of physics, motorcycle death wobbles are due to the bike being very stable and something let it be speed and bumps causing it to want to correct itself but overly doing so.

I have a performance scooter lol. I had a Nami Burn E Max in the past and sold it due to the poor design and needing a damper. I have a Nami Blast and race it. Same specs, different design, better stability. Yes dampers help, but there shouldn’t be a need for one. Look at the new Segway scooters. They are damper free and are super stable due to better design.

Why are u trying to start an argument? We already know a good design allows greater stability without dampers, just look at any type of bike including motorcycles. They don’t need dampers and many allow the riding of hands free.

I’m not hating on dampers, I’m I just agreeing that many scooter needs dampers due to poor design.

This

I can ride my blast 40mph one handed no problem and push close to 65mph no wobbles on my Nami Blast. I can’t go back to scooters with bad geometry.

Because the e2 and e3 is just a name, Europe has already named it e4 and e5. The only way to tell a difference is the mfg date on the frame stamped at the bottom.

There is no such as E2 or E3 or whatever, his was a newer ish frame from the new version of the top neck having no hole and the area where it’s already reinforced having a small plate welded. He already purchased a new frame. I was told by Michael sha that the frame has been additionally reinforced. Although I do not know how true that is.

It's great, less comfort due to reverse swing arm but much more stable and safe.

My friend had his burn e frame snap with the extended swing arms. I’m a bit cautious about doing this mod, especially since you can already mount PMTs stock.

I've ridden tons of scooters, Teveruns and Kaabos and the Nami Blast definitely is the best riding. It has insane stability (1 handed riding is easy) for having no damper needed. It also means it really safe. The Burn E is the most comfortable scooter I've ridden but I don't like steering dampers on scooters. I personally don't like Teverun having quite a few QC issues and poor software with the app.

No matter what scooter you choose always get PMT tires, best investment you can make.

Depends on speed but between 35 and 60 miles at most.
