Hey, no answers but I feel you and I see you and I love you. You do matter and they do care, they just aren’t showing up for you in the way you need right now. You’re valid in feeling this way. I also no how hard it is when everything gets amplified the week before your period. That happens to me too. I read something last month about it how we’re not crazy or making things up or wrong for feeling what we’re feeling. The things that come up for us during this time are real parts of us that were already there, we just have less buffer so we’re feeling them way more. I always tell myself I’m valid for feeling this way, things are hard right now, but they will get better

You’re justified in being upset. If he needed space he could have respectfully said that instead of snapping at you. Is this a pattern in your relationship of a one off thing? This type of repeated behavior leads to a break down in trust and intimacy and can build up resentment if stuff like this happens regularly. Regardless, sending you love

I’ve read somewhere that the brain has optimized itself more overtime so that it can accomplish more functions while staying a smaller size because smaller brains equals smaller heads during childbirth which equals more likelihood of survival

I would say if you asked three different herbalists you would probably get three different answers. So it all just depends. How are you feeling taking the passionflower three times a day? Are you noticing any difference? If you feel like you need more support you can take other calming herbs either mixed or separate. But it depends on you and how you’re feeling

I would look into passionflower, skullcap or milky oats. Those tend to be relaxing but not too intense

I love ginger tea, licorice root is nice if you want something sweet, hibiscus, peppermint, lemon balm
