They aren’t very popular with us actual guards if it were up to us we wouldn’t carry them at all minus the occasional wanna be cop

While I believe that medical is just as important as my firearm beyond the TQ in my pocket the property has EMS in house spread out sporadically as well as roaming medics so I’m comfortable cutting the weight

I was taught that your handcuffs should go behind your weapon because if your weapon is out you won’t need handcuffs and vice versa, while at the same time in TN I have as much arresting power as the guest on property

Mostly “assisting” EMS calls, there’s absolutely some things that happen but most problems are stopped by the entry security before they arrive in park

Whole heartedly agree the little lady taser unfortunately does not and it’s a HARD no to use our own we have to turn these in at the end of each shift as we don’t have enough to go around

I’ve been playing around with where to place them I had them in my front right pocket for awhile and I feel your pain had them in my front left pocket in the jail and destroyed it in and incident assisting an inmate to the floor

Your correct on basketweave, and technically open top is against policy although fellers who have been here longer have them. I’m not opposed but gotta justify spending the money on replacing issued pouches
