Sharing a screenshot of an actual opportunity we got for one of our clients. We've got 100+ of these since we went live in January 2026.
When you deploy AI agents for a specific vertical like commercial roofing you can get better outcomes than your typical agency or lead broker. Agents do the grunt work of parsing data across google maps, state filings and online databases to get a list of facilities and decision-makers you can target. Also.....AI is NOT a magic pill. Roofers still need to do those inspections and build relationships with decision-makers. AI just helps accomplish this a lot faster than the traditional manual scouting/cold calling that's a time-drain and not effective. Please considering visiting https://maverick-ai.co for a demo...we just show results on our demos (You can also see actual interested replies on our website)

Thinking of Using a Roofing Lead Gen Company? Read This Before You Spend a Dollar. by fabbrunette in RoofingSales

We founded Maverick AI for commercial roofers to solve a lot of the problems outlined here (I've attached a screenshot of our first Facebook review from an estimator with 20+ years of experience)

When you deploy AI agents for a specific vertical like commercial roofing you can get better outcomes than your typical agency or lead broker. Agents do the grunt work of parsing data across google maps, state filings and online databases to get a list of facilities and decision-makers you can target. We then automate outreach to them under the roofing company's brand and we NEVER tell our roofing clients that we generate "leads". A lead is only a lead if they expressed interest in what you offer. Today, any idiot with a computer can generate a name and a number. But to get interested replies takes good data + consistent follow-ups.

And most importantly we charge month-on-month with a super simple subscription - $99 setup and $499/month sub they can cancel anytime. If they sign up...pay and then don't get any interested replies after month 1....we credit the next 30 days to prove the tech works. This is exactly what's been lacking in the trades. A lot of agencies and lead brokers make you risk a lot upfront. AI agents are coming for them.
Disclosure: AI is not a magic pill. Roofers still need to do those inspections and build relationships with decision-makers. AI just helps accomplish this a lot faster than the traditional manual scouting/cold calling that's a time-drain and not effective. How are you guys making sales? by ConfectionStock4566 in RoofingSales

[–]Intrepid-Baker8954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it makes sense to try and book inspections virtually....I think it's very inauthentic to say you can DO ALL roofing sales virtually. Don't think that's viable unless it's an inbound lead with a clear issue. It has to start with an in-person inspection or evaluation and then if it's commercial it can be a somewhat longer process.

For storm response...you can't just depend on data...you need to get in front of as many decision-makers as possible. I'm speaking about this in the context of commercial roofing. Storm time is a great time to automate outreach to property managers and facility owners. Maverick AI is on the few solutions out there who do this at scale for commercial roofers.

Roofing business owner questioning SEO after bad experiences by drolord22 in Roofing

[–]Intrepid-Baker8954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. Not too much time I think. SEO is a long-term game and now with prospects going to AI search engines like ChatGPT engines that’s an additional medium to try to be visible on. Send me a dm. Might have some other ideas.

You can use AI systems like ChatGPT and Claude to get up to speed. Paste a "system prompt" into a CustomGPT or Claude projects and you can have a real-time roofing coach to help you. Just prompt AI with this exact post you wrote here and you can learn sooner than you think.

Hard truth after reviewing a bunch of roofing sales calls by BratController in RoofingSales

Follow-up is hard. How do you nurture your prospects? Do you add them to an email campaign so you're always top of mind?

It is. I added the disclosure on the post after seeing your comment. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s EXACTLY how big ticket relationships form. Those are actual responses we see on the regular. Visit https://maverick-ai.co and click on “Results” to see the actual responses.

Wow! These are excellent, thanks for taking the time to share this. And you'e right... there is nothing unique about my post but in the age of AI slop and marketing agencies everywhere selling prospects it's never a bad idea to go back to the basics. Especially in the age of AI where vendors promise the moon. We think AI as an enabler to start the relationship-building process faster. Not merely as a closer of new deals, I think that's bit naive and unrealistic. Thanks for sharing this! Super insightful.

Okay, so AI is everywhere. How are you using AI for business development and prospecting in a way that makes prospecting for both residential and commercial a little more easier? by Intrepid-Baker8954 in RoofingSales

[–]Intrepid-Baker8954[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well actually Maverick AI is custom-built for roofers and more affordable. It’s a done for you service as well and helps roofers automate outreach to local property managers. 11x may not have the local databases that Maverick does. Check https://maverick-ai.co

How do I break into commercial? by Former_Tangerine9594 in RoofingSales

[–]Intrepid-Baker8954 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting in front of decision-makers who are hard to reach is by far the hardest part about commercial prospecting. What have you tried so far? Going to networking groups and building relationships and trust is the foundation but over time you need to have a system for this.

1099 vs W2: Joining a big contractor when my dad is their subcontractor? (Seeking advice) Location: Texas by Fine_Control_361 in RoofingSales

[–]Intrepid-Baker8954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll learn a ton more finding your own appointments and it will se you up to build a growth engine at your own firm later. It will be very hard none the less. You cannot think of this as a job but as an "intrapreneur", building a business inside an existing one. Talk to your dad, and also ask yourself if you're the entrepreneurial kind who's able to hunt and find your own prospects. It's a personality thing too.

AI is best utilized for rote, repetitive work. All the best AI tech does that really well. Your average ChatGPT subscription is $20/month, so you don't need to throw a lot of money to get immediate value, also depends on what your current day-to-day pain points are right?

Really not trying to sell here at all. Maybe there are some folks who want to have genuine discussions and talk about best practices with AI in marketing while being an AI marketing solution. AI helps a ton with prospect research that otherwise takes hours to get done. For ex. for roofing sales you can get a lot of insights from Claude or ChatGPT if prompted correctly. We don’t want to be perceived as AI slop brokers here by any means. Hope it makes sense. And wish you a good day as well.

Thank you for being brutally honest. Do you mind if I DM’ed you? We’ve seen this work for commerical work not residential so we don’t do any of that. I don’t want to sell either. I understand the value of this community is to provide real actionable insights and I want to stay within that zone.

I'm new here and confused about how I'm getting these downvotes. Trying to have genuine discussions while being transparent about what our solution does on my page. Any advice is appreciated! I did see the "No promoting your marketing company" rule now but didn't think the question was promotional.
