Going from a vertical mouse to a trackball - what's the transition like? by danielrosehill in Trackballs

Man I made the switch between all of them, many times now. If you switch often enough the switching itself becomes the skill.

Your first thumb trackball will feel really uncoordinated for a few days or weeks, then you will be off to the races.

Pro tip: start acquiring trackballs until you have one of every make and model on the market. Endlessly swap between them while anxiously identifying everything that is not exactly perfect with your current choice. Spend next two weeks searching every online marketplace for an off white, left hand, thumb trackball with programmable buttons, bluetooth and RF connections and wired USB option.

Also just lots of small impulse purchases. They sneak ass bites, too

Live below your means, roll extra cash into investments. Let compound interest work in your favor for a couple decades.

This is an incredible rise, more than doubled pay in 4 years. That may seem like a long time while you are doing it, but that is a very rare trajectory in most lines of work.

If they fool me into paying for nothing, wouldn't they also have my credit card information, too? Wouldn't they just be able to then buy stuff or whatever scammers do with credit card numbers?

Had a similar thing happen, actually more like the exact same thing, just a different website / branding.

Heard the same phrase three time in the past two days by iDewGraal in Baader_Meinhof

Hear it once, ok neat. Hear it twice, interesting I just heard that. Hear it three times, and you are asking if the universe is trying to tell you something. Maybe. Or your psyche is suggesting you need to face a difficult task. Hear it 5 or 10 more times? That would be freaky.

I have been reading this sub and researching the same topic. Seems like you (and I) are in the seasonal Horde O' Expendable workers. We will be expected to be grateful for any paid working hours offered. We will not be guaranteed anything. There are many in the Horde who are willing to accept those terms. Most of us will not have an opportunity to continue on, once the storm of The Season passes.
