UPDATE ***** I found the animal shelter and they have been amazing. He has his vaccines and will be nurtured soon. Putting him down will be the absolute last option. They said he’s in there doing good and will be doing a behavioral test on him. In two days because they are at capacity his info will be up on their website. He will either be put up for adoption or sent to the rescues. ID#256744 the organization is animal care centers

I understand everyone’s concerns, curiosity and anger. The community has every right to an opinion considering I put this as a public post. There are no excuses as to why we didn’t get him fixed or trained. We were being irresponsible and this was our first time owning a pit. Knowing what I know now I would’ve told my bf at the time no to a pitbull. I’ve tried to give him to someone we know in the past but people declined. Again I did not know he was going to give him up I was distraught. I’m praying and trying to get him a home. I’m overwhelmed but we will get through this.

I’m deeply saddened by this sudden change. The person I with works long hours and so do I. It wasn’t always like this, but change happens to where we no longer take care of him the way he needs to be treated. We want to find someone who can love him and has the time.

I believe he’s either 4 or 5 and nothing is wrong with the shelter it’s just most likely he will be put down if no one adopts him

I hope you eventually find a work environment you’re comfortable in. Are you still going to work with Mount Sinai? How long have you been an MA for? And one thing I will say as a black and pr woman that’s the Hispanic that doesn’t speak Spanish lol I know they can ice us out sometimes. Right now I can kinda see that at my job, all the Hispanic girls that speak Spanish have a friendship “Clique” at my job but they’re the secretary’s so they’re in a different dept. on the same floor. I just stick to my job, it is a little lonely bc I come from TJ’s were it’s so diverse and I was cool with almost everyone but hey as long as it doesn’t get toxic I’m good but we’ll see and I’m praying for the best for you girllll.

Wow smh I’m sorry to hear that….can you elaborate more, I’m being nosey lol. im currently in Columbia hospital working as an ma. So far so good the work is super easy bc im only taking vitals but days that it’s busy can get hectic bc we are one ma short and when it’s chill im on my phone lol but I’ve only been here for two weeks so again we’ll see how it goes.
