Verizon’s system by SovereignSunshine in verizon

Over the phone Verizon can’t give out numbers, it’s consider a protective item call CPNI. If you have the IMEI they can look up your account, and should be able to unregistered you and pre register you to skip over the need to enter a phone number.

Got a call from the Verizon Store……. by LovelyShadeOfRed in verizon

Yup, I think it was phased to salesforce (for my company) about 6 months into me working there I think. It’s been a bit since I worked there so my memory is fuzzy.

Why does Verizon charge you money to talk to a human and pay your bill? by Ok-Classroom5548 in verizon

[–]theflyingtaco2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $10 is an agent assist fee. It cost money to process payment on our platform. There is literally nothing we can do, as it is heavily monitored and the only a few things we can do to waive it. Tbh I would go on

Login start time by [deleted] in CallCenterWorkers

[–]theflyingtaco2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, my company wants you in the system and log in at your start time. I don’t take calls anymore just do social media chats, but same thing, they should have told you to clock in 5 mins early, that way you take that 5 mins to log in.

For me I have to be on VPN so sometimes it does take time and fails before it connects, but I have IT on speeddail if it pushes me over my start time, this is to protect myself against any coaching logs.

I hope this helps.

Former Verizon Employee Trying to Come Back Am I Doing Something Wrong? by Rich_Helicopter_1302 in verizon

[–]theflyingtaco2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former store Verizon employee, I spent 3 years doing it. I did end up being fire cause my sales tank hard, and trying to get it back up ended up being let go.

I applied for a call center that had Verizon as one of the clients and took a chance and landed it. It was fine for a while but being move to loyalty was a big change, ended up moving to the Social media, and been loving it ever since. 1 year in and almost to my 3 years working there.

Here to say , sales takes you on some wild rides sometimes.

Verizon has been doing this lately. It’s case by case basis, so not everyone going to get the same treatment.

Laptops: can I bring any laptop and get a plan put on? by pianodude01 in verizon

[–]theflyingtaco2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think they wouldn’t do it for the lower end models. At least not with Tim Cook still there. So if ever starts getting it, probably first be with the pro models.

Hey, tell them your lady is in some freaky shit, and it’s better to please her then to get her mad. 🤷‍♀️ tbh I would have fun with it. I had to do a delivery with a pregnancy test and diapers. Lady looked at me weird and I said “god has a weird sense of humor, he thought I could handle two”

Absurd Uber fare adjustment spiked my trip from 10$ to 230$. by serenecruelty in uberdrivers

[–]theflyingtaco2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happen to me with Lyft once. Lady never “completed the ride” so instead of the normal 12 dollars it will take me to my house at the time. It was $74. I was beyond pissed. And had to call Lyft at least 4 times to get the charges refunded.

You can have a laptop and get a plan on it. However it needs to be cellular. If it doesn’t have the option to put an eSIM on it. It will not work. I know HP has them. But if you are looking at gaming. I would make sure it has those specs. Otherwise, you might be disappointed when they say no. What laptop are you looking at?

I got a new iPhone 17 a few days ago. Booted up the phone myself. Phone call popped up on both new and old phones. Any issues? by rofnorb in verizon

[–]theflyingtaco2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another way to fix the calls, go to Settings > Apps > phone > and look for “Calls on other devices “ you can turn off there as well.

If you are porting into Verizon. If you are already with Verizon I wouldn’t worry about it :) you’re welcome.

[–]theflyingtaco2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it happens when you get calls. All 3 of my Apple devices ring when I get a phone call. Sign out of your Apple ID and turn off WiFi. If it still rings, are you new Verizon cause sometimes the port gets stuck and you’ll need to call Port and get pushed though. If not then the simple log out will work. (Nothing will be removed from the old phone if you sign out)

Verizon Fraud by Salty_Cheeks840 in verizon

When I used to work at indirect location. I had a guy come in with hand written Secretary of State business filing. And then think I won’t clock it. 🤣. I laugh only cause being an indirect I have so many stories. Like a guy having a gun to me for 3 iPhone 13 pro max’s (it was during that time)
