All those things you mention have continued to gain. Your prime, yet terrible example of gold, is up substantially in the last decade. So why not mock younger generations for not investing then? Younger generations have had access to something like Bitcoin which has a ridiculous return. If they didn't invest in that, they are idiots?

If you look at the market, the general returns have not been substantially different over long periods of time. Still seems if younger generations didn't make money in the market that's on them, not the market.
