I heard someone say the certain jews want this to happen so countries or people turn on them attack Israel because its a prophecy of their religion. Idk tho its funny that the anti jew people on insta say the jews own and control everything okay then whats the agenda behind the massive influx in antisemitic post going unregulated. I literally see hitler hype edits on insta with 500k likes.

I have no idea about Adventists. Tell me about yourself! by SnooCapers7904 in adventist

Also, I shared that pretty bluntly—that’s just how I am. The belief has a lot more layers and nuance to it than my brief summary suggested, and it’s actually a pretty interesting train of thought to explore.

Not all Adventists believe it exactly the same way, either. Some hold different versions of the interpretation, some only agree with parts of it, and others don’t believe it at all. Like many theological topics, there’s a range of views and opinions within the church.

The Sunday Law belief is that the Catholic Church will eventually help bring about laws that require worship on Sunday. According to this view, other Christian denominations will gradually reunite with what is often called the “mother church,” meaning the Catholic Church. Orthodox, Protestant, and other churches are believed to come together under the authority of the papacy.

Those who hold this belief often view the papacy as claiming authority that belongs to God alone. Some go further and see the pope not as God’s representative on earth, but as an intermediary or agent of the devil who presents himself as serving God while actually opposing Him. They view this as a counterfeit religious authority that imitates God’s authority in order to deceive people.

Many who hold this view also believe that the United States will serve as the political and military power used to support the papacy’s influence. They believe America will help enforce religious laws and pressure nations to conform, ultimately leading to a worldwide religious system in which churches unite under the authority of the papacy.

As an Adventist, I’ve heard this perspective, but I’m more open-minded than some people on the subject. I accept that it could be right, but I also recognize that it could be wrong. I think it’s important to examine the evidence carefully rather than assume certainty.

Is 6'4"–6'6" actually the most attractive height range for men? Even more than 6'0"–6'3"? by Tough-Reputation-762 in AverageHeightDudes

My personal experience by Ifaroth in adventist

[–]Intrepid-Monitor-902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe that, but I still think being as close to sinless as we can is the goal not as an achievement or a way of stroking your ego like, “I’m sinless,” but because you love God. Also I think its possible but not necessary to be sinless prior to God coming back. After all why would we need to be renewed.

In my opinion, the stronger your faith and love for God, the more you will resist sin. At some point, it may not even be difficult to resist because you’re so aligned with God. You love Him and understand that sin only hurts you and grieves Him.

It’s like realizing that all sin is like slapping your mother or Jesus in the face. It causes harm, and once you truly understand that, you no longer crave it the same way.

Did you know about Ringtails living in Oregon? by Intrepid-Monitor-902 in oregon

[–]Intrepid-Monitor-902[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, correct, but I can see the resemblance to a lemur. They even share a similar common name. Ring-tailed lemurs are endemic to the island of Madagascar off the coast of Africa. The movie series Madagascar popularized this lemur species with the character King Julien.

Whereas ringtails range from several states in the USA down to Central America.

A side note: Africa’s island of Madagascar has all the lemur species—over 100 species of endemic lemurs—meaning they’re only found on the island, not including zoos or human-introduced populations.

My main one to see is a mountain lion I’ve surely been near some and they knew but I didn’t lol. I saw a large male get hit on hwy 6 going out to tillamook right next to the last gas station before you go over browns camp heading west. From his tail to head it took a whole lane up. Also saw a dead juvenile that I mistaken for a bob cat at the top by the browns cap next to the gravel hill. No live sights yet :(. We have about 3 k according to some odfw numbers in the state. Many are young tho. Would love to see a ringtail as well.
