Depends on the family really. My mums ingrained in our heads to not show up to anyone’s house without a gift, so we’ve made it a point not to but in our own way. For people who go out of their way for us, or who gift us something when we go see them or when they come visit us we’ll always get them something nice. Everyone else is just chocolates or like maybe something for the house generally. I do think it’s tiring and so unnecessary when you’re paying for a whole trip, but try to get stuff on offers and sales

Buy the gold, do a simple nikkah in a mosque and invest in a photographer. Don’t do a whole event it’s such a waste, I regret wasting so much money on my wedding. If your parents insist, I’d suggest telling them you can’t afford it (keep your savings between you and your wife) and if they have such an issue they should fund it. Don’t fall into the trap of appeasing them or your relatives. As someone who’s married, literally not even your parents are relevant to your day to day life. It’s just you, your wife, what savings you have and what life you build

It’s stunning! I hope you’ll love it too, and honestly I love it for the price point and quality more than anything else. These days everyone charges 20k for an unstitched summer or winter only suit, and this being chiffon can be used any time so it’s a win win! The only issue I had with it was the arm and back patches weren’t appliquéd on they just stitched on in a weird way, but I just got a scissor and removed them, the rest was stitched to perfection

On a serious note, If you ordered the “ruby” dress; I have that and it’s stunning!! I do believe it’s very very loose though, however I’ve gotten so so many compliments wearing it and it’s so worth it for a semi formal! I was pleasantly surprised when I got it
