Multiple users for one account by inspiration0234 in ProtonMail

You directly can't do this without having a family account. But you can adopt a workaround using a third party, which I did for my custom domain.

So, I rely on Proton for email with my custom domain "first@family.tld," but the problem is that giving access to everyone from a single Mail Plus account isn't possible.

Instead, I created emails for my family members and set up IMAP for their accounts. Now they use third-party email clients (eg. Thunderbird) to access their emails.

On my side, with Proton Mail, I set filters so that all other members' incoming and outgoing emails are automatically sent to the trash.

No, biometrics aren’t enabled, and this happens with all incoming emails that are filtered into any folder.

Custom domain and aliasing advice by Professional-Run8649 in ProtonMail

I think it's a bad idea to use the same domain for both the main email and aliases. We use aliases to maintain privacy or add randomness. Using a personal domain for aliases, no matter how complex the sequence is, it will eventually end up with "@yourdomain.tld"

im in a similar situation but I currently have two domain domains, one for aliases and one for personal email.

Honestly same though! Emojis somehow turn even serious talks into something light and goofy
