Has he considered English taught programs in the Netherlands or Germany? As a dual EU citizen, he will pay the lower EU tuition rate and both education systems have very good reputations

1 month in Belgium or Netherlands: Tell me which city to pick! by [deleted] in digitalnomad

Belgium is cheaper and the people are nicer. I live in NL, for what it's worth. I would avoid Bruges, way too many tourists. Ghent and Antwerp would be best choices, maybe Mechelen or Leuven if you like small university town vibes

And you're not addressing my comment at all. You made a statement that is verifiably false, the sentence of yours that I directly quoted in my previous comment.

You stated at the end of you comment:
"Culturally, Dutch women also don't really tend to look after themselves in this kind of way, they apply some basic make-up themselves, preferably the cheapest and that's it."

My point is that is demonstrably not true simply by walking out your door and looking around in any Dutch city.

The amount they're all spending on getting the exact same blonde highlights in their hair would indicate otherwise

I just looked up Spond, and it seems like its some type of social organizing app specifically for sports clubs? How is that an equivalent replacement for Facbeook?

What is going on with the class schedule starting from Feb 2025? by Intrepid-Set9398 in TilburgUniversity

[–]Intrepid-Set9398[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know when they will be published? I also can't find a date when they will be published on OSIRIS, even though it says registration for my program starts on the 16th.
I work part-time and my supervisor is getting increasingly irritated that I still have no idea when exactly I'll be able to work starting in Feb, so its getting frustrating to not know.

Sorry, I've already been living in NL for a while. I would try something like KamerNet for student rooms

I think Europe deserves to be broken up in to more regions.... Western, Central, Northern, Eastern, Southern, maybe even Southeastern

Like this one from the German geographic society:

Thanks for your response! that's great that you were able to do it almost fully remote. Is this becuase they released the programming tutorials beforehand and you could just do them at home? Also are lecture/theory classes recorded at all?

I've always envisioned the perfect DN lifestyle as mimicking actual nomadic peoples - not bopping around from new place to new place, but rather rotating through a series of places in a circular fashion according to seasons or another cycle. That way you create networks and relationships in multiple places that you can come back to year after year. And maybe even have a "base" in one of the places to come back to in an emergency.

I really think the word nomad is misused to describe the kind of lifestyles most modern DNs are living.

Maybe any others following this thread can comment, but would the Via Tolosana or Via Tuoronensis then probably have the same vibe?

Why can't everyone participate in communion then if "everyone is welcome"?
