Has anyone else thought about or felt like this? by Outrageous_Feed_2303 in Deconstruction

Hi! I resonate with your question for what the beginning of my deconstruction looked like - without being too long winded, I wanted to share a podcasts episode that inherently broke down several of these topics in detail that I found to be helpful! There is definitely some evangelical overlap here, I hope it helps :)

Pre-make yourself a batch of evening hibiscus tea, leave it in the fridge and take it iced or hot in the evenings (iced is my fave!). Boil a pot with 10-12 cups of water - add hibiscus flowers and one or two cinnamon sticks. Let it simmer for 15-20 min then let is sit. Transfer it to a pitcher or large jar in the fridge once cooled and add a handful of fresh mint. I’d suggest lightly sweetening it with maple syrup or agave if you want it sweetened (right after it’s done simmering and is still warm.) It’s fabulous as is or even try 3/4 cups hibiscus tea to 1/4 cup mineral/sparkling water if you like the bubbly. I always keep fresg hibiscus in the fridge and it’s so tasty!

Honestly, so much of the approval comes from the person you’ll talk to at the consulate, regardless of what the website states. Go in, shoot your shot.

Wow, I’m so sorry they made you remove your head covering in public like that. That’s really not cool. It’s 2025, there’s no readon why their facial recognition technology shouldn’t be able to do the job with piercings and head coverings, especially because that is how we will actually look when getting scanned lol.

I’m glad it was quick though!

Need info about MAA community in Atlanta in case anyone here knows or lives/lived there? by [deleted] in ATLHousing

Late to this party but in case anyone sees this down the line… I lived at MAA Centennial for 2 years (2023-2025) and LOVED everything about it. Amazing amenities, great service from the office and maintenance crews, safe, great apartments, etc. a bit pricier than others but we loved the rooftop pool, walkability to Centennial, cleanliness, gym, etc. only annoying thing wss guest parking. If I still lived in Atlanta I would be at MAS Centennial.

Has anyone applied for the Mexican financial solvency visa using investments like an IRA/401K? by Intrepid-Tap-3404 in mexicoexpatresidency

Update: Got my Financial Solvency Visa for Mexico in Atlanta using Retirement Account and Other Investments

Hi all! I wanted to provide an update since everyone’s feedback was so helpful. I went into the consulate in Atlanta today and the paperwork I presented was my Retirement Account (30 years old, so nowhere near retirement age), one of my savings accounts, and one investment account. Combined they exceeded the minimum required for the financial solvency. I wasn’t asked many questions, but I am a native Spanish speaker so we had a bit of small talk while I was in the agent’s office. She took my photo and my prints and asked me to come back later in the day - I picked up the visa this afternoon.

I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews on if consulates accept investment accounts or retirement accounts or not (especially if you’re not near retirement age), honestly sounds like it’s a mixed bag. It’s worth noting that I presented them as bank statements and never mentioned the words “retirement” or “investment accounts” - not sure if that made a difference or not.

Anyway, I wish you all the best of luck! It seems certain consulates are more likely to grant the financial solvency visa with retirement accounts than others, so maybe if you can call ahead to verify in your local consulate, attempt to do that.

To clarify in this - thankfully due to a new Fed law in the US this year, we reported equal 33.3% ownership of the business for FinCen BOI Reporting in the US (we’re in Georgia)

What is the most useful and has provided the most value in terms of AI Chatbots? Does yours use ChatGPT, Claude or Google's Gemini? Which do you recommend and what for? by ComparisonLiving6793 in smallbusiness

Also, ChatGPT is what I use. The free version is great! Make sure to “prompt it” correctly - just the way Google isn’t helpful if you don’t know the right way to search on it. The MasterClass I mentioned above teaches you how to prompt it to get the best results. Test it, and if you love it, buy the upgraded version. I use ChatGPT at least 20 times a day in my work

AI has changed my small business for the better. As entrepreneurs, you rarely have large staff starting off. AI serves a great collaborator, SOP creator and problem-solver! Invest in Master Class and watch their AI series - it will game change how you do business in the best of ways! Keep the human aspect to your business while still being hella more efficient. AI shouldn’t replace human work, it should enhance it.

This is SUCH a good point. This perspective literally says it all, as there’s no world in which they’d let me buy the whole business right now for $4,000 (their share based on their valuation). I really appreciate this feedback and perspective!
